摘要: A wireless power transfer system can include a wireless power transmitter (PTx) and a wireless power receiver (PRx). The PTx can include a transmit coil driven by an inverter configured to receive an input DC voltage and provide an output AC voltage as a plurality of bursts. The PRx can include a receiver coil magnetically coupled to the transmit coil such that the bursts induce a corresponding AC voltage and a rectifier configured to receive the AC voltage and output a DC voltage to a load. The PRx can also include burst request pulse generation circuitry configured to operate the rectifier so as to deliver a burst request pulse to the PTx via magnetic coupling between coils. The PTx can further include inverter control circuitry configured to sense the burst request pulse and, in response thereto, trigger the inverter to deliver an AC voltage burst.

摘要: An item may include fabric having insulating and conductive yarns or other strands of material. The conductive strands may form signal paths. Electrical components can be mounted to the fabric. Each electrical component may have an electrical device such as a semiconductor die that is mounted on an interposer substrate. The interposer may have contacts that are soldered to the conductive strands. A protective cover may encapsulate portions of the electrical component. To create a robust connection between the electrical component and the fabric, the conductive strands may be threaded through recesses in the electrical component. The recesses may be formed in the interposer or may be formed in a protective cover on the interposer. Conductive material in the recess may be used to electrically and/or mechanically connect the conductive strand to a bond pad in the recess. Thermoplastic material may be used to seal the solder joint.

摘要: A power converter can include a charge pump that receives an input voltage and generates a flying rail voltage therefrom and a plurality of buck converters configured to generate regulated voltages from the flying rail voltage. A symmetric controller can have an outer control loop configured to regulate the flying rail voltage and a plurality of inner control loops in communication with the outer control loop and configured to control the plurality of buck converters to generate regulated output voltages responsive to one or more signals received from the outer control loop. The outer loop can be configured to include a hysteretic controller. The outer control loop can be further configured to provide a signal to the plurality of inner control loops indicating whether the inner control loops should control respective buck converters to charge or discharge a capacitor supporting the flying rail voltage.

A control circuit may generate the one or more control signals based on a particular switching sequence, which is selected based on a ratio of a voltage level of the regulated power supply node and a voltage level input power supply signal.

摘要: A hearable has an audio amplifier circuit coupled to a speaker as a load. The amplifier circuit has current source drive, which attenuates electromagnetically coupled noise of the speaker. In other instances, the amplifier circuit has a first amplifier mode and a second amplifier mode, wherein in the first amplifier mode the amplifier circuit becomes configured to drive the speaker as a voltage source, and in the second amplifier mode the amplifier circuit becomes configured to drive the speaker as a current source. Control logic varies the amplifier circuit between i) the first amplifier mode for larger amplitudes of the audio signal, and ii) the second amplifier mode for smaller amplitudes of the audio signal. Other aspects are also described and claimed.

摘要: Methods, structures, and apparatus that are able to transfer power through a device power contact while minimizing its corrosion. During a first period, a power supply may be connected to the device power contact. During a second, subsequent period the power supply may be disconnected from the device power contact and a quasi-resonant circuit connected to the device power contact may cause a voltage on the device power contact to ring. At the end of the second period, the voltage on the device power contact may be approximately equal to a voltage of the power supply. The power supply voltage may have a first polarity and the voltage on the device power contact may have a second polarity for a portion of the second period, the second polarity opposite the first polarity.
