Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to techniques for presenting operations in a presentation. A technique is provided for allowing a user to insert media items on consecutive slides. During a presentation mode, the media items are determined to be two instances of a same media item, and matched such that the media item plays continuously across multiple slides. Another technique is provided to allow a user to utilize a user input to override a linearly-defined set of actions within a presentation. Another technique is utilized to temporarily select a visually obstructed object in a graphic editing interface such that the visually obstructed object may be manipulated during the temporary selection mode.

Abstract: A change propagation command, in one embodiment, causes the creation of induced commands in order to propagate commands in a collaborative document creation process that involves at least two client systems and a server system. The change propagation command received on a client system causes the creation of induced commands to a local copy on that client system and also causes the creation of induced commands on the server system. The induced commands in one embodiment apply changes to any objects that were added after the original change propagation command was received.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are provided for automatically configuring a display layout for a slide presentation to allow a presenter to seamlessly perform effective, professional slide presentation even in unfamiliar locales. A method for doing so may involve receiving connected display information that describes the electronic displays currently connected to the electronic device. When the connected display information indicates that multiple electronic displays are currently connected, the processor of the electronic device may automatically choose, without explicit user assignment, a main presentation display and one or more presenter displays. The main presentation display may display a slide presentation from among the multiple electronic displays, while the presenter displays may display information other than only the slide presentation to aid the presenter. The main presentation display and the presenter displays may be chosen based at least in part on the connected display information.
