Abstract: In the disclosed moving picture camera with an adjustable rotary shutter, the shutter has a rotary shutter and an adjusting blade. The shutter adjusting blade is adjustable coaxially to the rotary shutter, which adjusts a shutter aperture angle. A transmission and a positioning motor adjust the adjusting blade relative to the rotary shutter. A potentiometer is connected to the shutter adjusting blade and to the rotary shutter, for measuring the position of the shutter adjustment blade in relation to the rotary shutter. The potentiometer generates a position signal indicating the actual position of the shutter adjustment blade in relation to the rotary shutter.

Abstract: A motion picture camera for transporting and exposing a motion picture film with an adjustable rotary shutter, a rotation surface (dark sector) of which reflects the recording path of rays to at least a video recording device that has a CCD image sensor and a video electronic mechanism, and an opening sector (bright sector) of which releases rays to a recording path for film exposure, and with a sensor for determining the shutter aperture angle of the adjustable rotary shutter. A shutter logic controls the light quantity falling onto the CCD image sensor and/or the charging of the CCD image sensor dependent upon the shutter aperture angle.

Abstract: A motion picture camera and cassette system is provided having at least one motion picture camera and several film cassettes containing an exposed and/or unexposed motion picture film. The film cassettes contain a storage device which stores at least the length of the exposed and/or unexposed motion picture film. The motion picture cameras have a device for exchanging data with the storage device of the film cassettes and sensing the exposed length of motion picture film. Abstract: Control and regulation apparatus 16 for the control of the exposure and transport speed of a motion picture film with a motion picture camera whose film transport motor 26 is connected to a speed control apparatus 23 and which has a rotary shutter which can be adjusted by means of a servomotor 3 and which is connected to a potentiometer 6 as a position sensor. A setpoint for the shutter aperture of the adjustable rotary shutter is specified as a function of the current film transport speed by the control and regulation apparatus 16 via a converter 14 to a position controller 13, whereby the product of the film transport speed and the shutter aperture is always a constant value. Different film transport speeds, shutter apertures and transition times can be input to the camera in a programmer apparatus 19 or in a remote control apparatus 181, 182, and initiated sequentially by means of a program key 183.
