Abstract: Messages provided by users in a group communication experience are processed to identify media based on content of the messages. The messages may include references to artists, titles, genres, or eras of media, or express sentiments regarding the group communication experience. Media identified based on such references or sentiments is retrieved and transmitted to devices of one or more users participating in the group communication experience. The media is identified for users or for the group communication experience based on subjective or objective factors and played by the devices of the users participating in the group communication experience.

Abstract: A creator establishes a media program including a plurality of media files or content in accordance with a broadcast plan. Mixing systems establish connections with a mobile device of the creator, and with sources of the audio files or content, either manually or automatically in response to instructions of the creator. Broadcast systems establish connections with computer devices of listeners and a mixing system. Conference systems establish connections with the mobile device of the creator and a mixing system. The connections established may be one-way or two-way channels. The media program may include live or previously recorded audio content including words or sounds of the creator, as well as advertisements, music, news, sports, weather, or other programming. The media program may also include live or previously recorded interviews or other conversations with guests, including but not limited to one or more listeners.

Abstract: As a media program is aired to listeners, agents executed by a control system monitor actions by the creator or by listeners to ensure that the creator or the listeners comply with relevant policies and that the media program is aired as scheduled. The agents are programmed with sets of rules regarding content, language, advertising or other restrictions, and configured to process signals representative of actions taken by the creator or the listeners to determine whether such actions comply with such rules. The signals may represent spoken words, written messages, or interactions by listeners, among other actions. The agents interpret the signals to identify intended actions of creators or listeners, and to determine whether the intended actions would comply with each of the rules associated with the media program. The agents are also configured to identify and execute alternative actions as necessary.

Abstract: Techniques described herein are directed towards dynamically adding new pickup orders to an existing route structure. In at least some embodiments, a service provider separates a number of vendors into separate clusters based on one or more attributes. For example, the vendors may be separated by geographic region. The service provider may then identify a set of routes that are associated with each of the vendor clusters and run optimization techniques on that set of routes. The set of routes may be filtered based on attributes of the route. In some embodiments, the service provider may make a route alteration that accommodates the new pickup order.
