Abstract: A current sensor includes units each of which has a bus bar through which current flows, a magnetic sensor facing one of plate surfaces of the bus bar, a shield facing the other plate surface. The units have a large-current unit and a small-current unit. A first distance between the bus bar and the magnetic sensor in a normal direction of the plate surfaces of the bus bar is the same as a distance L1A of the large-current unit and a distance L1B of the small-current unit. Since, as for a second distance between the bus bar and a base of the shield, a distance L2A of the large-current unit is larger than a distance L2B of the small-current unit, a measurement range of the large-current unit is widened and a measurement error due to magnetic saturation of the shield is suppressed.

Abstract: A current sensor includes a magnetic sensor configured to detect a magnetic field generated by a current to be measured flowing through a current path and a shielding member including a first shield, a second shield, and a third shield disposed away from each other. The first shield is disposed on an opposite side of the current path from the magnetic sensor in a first direction in which the magnetic sensor and the current path oppose each other and includes a first opposing surface opposing the current path. The second shield includes a second opposing surface along the first direction. The third shield includes a third opposing surface along the first direction. The second shield and the third shield are disposed such that the second opposing surface and the third opposing surface oppose each other, with the magnetic sensor and the current path sandwiched therebetween.

Abstract: A current sensor has a chassis, a magnetism detection element, and a bus bar through which a current under measurement flows. The current sensor is mounted on a circuit board in a state in which the chassis is inserted into an opening formed in the circuit board with current paths provided on a mounting surface and the bus bar is connected to the current paths. The bus bar has an incorporation portion placed in the interior of the chassis as well as externally connected portions extending from both ends of the incorporation portion, one from each side, toward the outside of the chassis. The externally connected portions are positioned above the bottom surface of the chassis in the up-down direction. The incorporation portion has an underneath portion positioned below the externally connected portions in the up-down direction.

Abstract: A current sensor has a first bus bar, a second bus bar, and a third bus bar, which are formed in a plate shape, and also has a first magnetic sensing unit, a second magnetic sensing unit, and a third magnetic sensing unit placed so as to respectively face the first bus bar, second bus bar, and third bus bar. Each bus bar has a narrow-width portion with the relevant magnetic sensing unit placed so as to face it, and also has two wide-width portions. The second magnetic sensing unit, which senses a magnetic field generated from the second bus bar, and the third magnetic sensing unit, which senses a magnetic field generated from the third bus bar, are offset from their relevant narrow-width portions toward opposite sides in the Y-axis direction, when viewed along the Z-axis direction.
