Abstract: A station may use information from a reduced neighbor report to determine which neighboring access points (APs) to scan. A station may receive the reduced neighbor report from an AP. The reduced neighbor report may include one or more parameters related to security, verification status, or capabilities of neighbor APs. The station may scan channels of the one or more of the neighbor APs based on the security, the verification status, or the capabilities of the neighbor APs.

For example, some aspects relate to a multi-link device (MLD) including a first station (STA) associated with a first link of a wireless network and configured to communicate with a second MLD over the first link. The MLD also includes a second STA associated with a second link of the wireless network. The second STA is in a hibernation mode. The MLD also includes one or more processors communicatively coupled to the first and second STAs and configured to control operations of the first and second STAs.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for access control operation between devices in a wireless communication system. An access device may store reader group identifier information for one or more reader devices. The access device may receive an advertisement indication from a reader device in a wireless manner. The advertisement indication may include a reader group identifier for the reader device. The access device may determine that the reader group identifier information stored by the access device includes the reader group identifier indicated by the reader device. The access device may attempt to perform access control communication exchange with the reader device based at least in part on determining that the reader group identifier information stored by the access device includes the reader group identifier indicated by the reader device.

Abstract: An electronic device (such as an access point) is described. This electronic device transmits an orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) frame to a recipient electronic device (such as a client or a station). The OFDMA frame includes multiple predefined resource units (RUs) allocated to the recipient electronic device in a set of predefined RUs having associated frequency bandwidths. Moreover, the multiple predefined RUs include two or more first predefined RUs having a first number of tones less than a predefined amount, or two or more second predefined RUs having a second number of tones greater than or equal to the predefined amount. For example, the predefined amount may include 242 tones. Note that the multiple predefined RUs may have the same or different numbers of tones. Moreover, the electronic may receive an acknowledgment or a block acknowledgment from the recipient electronic device.

Abstract: Multiuser (MU) Multi-TID (multi-traffic-identifier) transmission may be enabled in a resource unit (RU). To transmit an urgent payload as soon as possible, the urgent payload may be injected/included into the ongoing MU physical protocol data unit (MU PPDU), if possible. This may be accomplished by indicating to the latency-sensitive wireless station (STA) the ID of a companion (or buddy) station that has an assigned resource unit (RU) on which the STA may expect to receive the urgent payload, also referred to as the “overloaded RU.” Alternatively, an extra user field in the preamble of the MU PPDU may be used to indicate to the STA its station ID as well as the location of the overloaded RU. A receiver operating on an A-MPDU may select the RU it receives, and may identify (or determine) a wrong transmission based on the transmitter address.
