    摘要: Systems and methods related to “on/off” determinations regarding the performance of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring during connected mode discontinuous reception (CDRX) on duration windows are disclosed herein. In some cases, a radio access network (RAN) predicts whether a downlink (DL) packet for a UE will arrive at a buffer of the RAN prior to an end of a CDRX on duration window of the UE, and sends a downlink control information (DCI) with a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) scrambled by a power-saving radio network temporary identifier (PS-RNTI) (DCP) for the CDRX on duration window indicating whether or not the UE should perform PDCCH monitoring during the CDRX on duration window based on the prediction. In some cases, a UE determines a current state of DL traffic and adaptively uses DCP monitoring based on the current state of the traffic. Aggregation level adaptation by the RAN is also discussed.

    摘要: The techniques provide solutions for a user equipment (UE) and base station to switch between T1R4 and 2T4R for sounding reference signals (SRS). The UE and base station may communicate SRS using 2T4R. The UE and/or base station may detect and evaluate a signal quality trigger and/or condition relating to switching from T2R4 to T1R4. The trigger and/or condition may correspond to a channel or radio frequency (RF) quality, conflicting or problematic band combinations used in a non-standalone (NSA) scenario, whether dedicated data subscription (DDS) subscriber identity module (SIM) or non-DDS SIM is being used in a dual SIM dual active (DSDA) scenario, etc. The UE and base station may either continue using T2R4 communications or switch to T1R4 communications based on the trigger and/or evaluation.

In some embodiments, a UE may reset a transmit power control (TPC) power adjustment value when an ATD antenna switch of the ATD mechanism is performed. In some embodiments, a UE may reduce the value of an ATD hysteresis timer upon determining that a reference signal receive power (RSRP) change on a monitored reference signal that drives a pathloss calculation at the UE exceeds a threshold. In some embodiments, a UE may scale a filtering coefficient of a pathloss calculation mechanism upon determining that an RSRP change on a monitored reference signal that drives a pathloss calculation at the UE exceeds a threshold.

    摘要: A wireless network may include a device that communicates with base stations. The device may include a set of antennas. The network may transmit a message identifying a subset of frequency resources of a frequency band for the device. The subset can include a bandwidth part configuration, a component carrier configuration, and/or a physical resource block configuration. The device may generate wireless performance metric data with the set of antennas using the subset of frequency resources rather than averaging wireless performance metric data across the entire band. The device may identify a best performing antenna based on the performance metric data and may use that antenna to transmit signals. The best performing antenna may be different than when averaged across the entire frequency band, serving to optimize wireless performance particularly when the frequency band has a wide bandwidth.
