Abstract: Mechanisms are provided for a user equipment (UE) to determine to use a shared resource such as an antenna to access a land based wireless communication system or a satellite communication system. The UE can provide a first priority indication to indicate whether to access the land based wireless communication system based on one or more wireless link metrics of the land based wireless communication system or one or more application metrics for applications using the land based wireless communication system; and provide a second priority indication to indicate whether to access the satellite wireless communication system based on one or more service metrics provided by the satellite wireless communication system. The UE can determine to use the shared resources to access the land based wireless communication system or the satellite communication system based on the first priority indication and the second priority indication.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein include methods and apparatus for dynamically selecting antenna settings for reception of wireless signals in multiple radio frequency band by wireless devices. A wireless device includes at least two SIM/eSIM profiles that each use different radio frequency bands and dynamically selects an antenna tuner setting based on requirements of one or more applications in use and key radio frequency performance indicators. In some embodiments, the antenna hardware tuner setting is selected to improve paging reception for a secondary SIM/eSIM from a second cellular wireless network when applications communicating using a first SIM/eSIM via a first cellular wireless network can accommodate performance degradation for a period of time.

Abstract: An electronic device receives an indication of a number of physical resource blocks and subcarrier spacing of at least a portion of a transmission channel and determines a dynamic transmission bandwidth, or receives an indication of a modulation coding scheme of the transmission channel and determines a modulation order. Abstract: Systems and methods for reducing collisions of transmission data for a first subscriber (e.g., a voice subscriber) with transmission data for a second subscriber (e.g., a data subscriber) at a dual sim dual active (DSDA) user equipment (UE) are described herein. A DSDA UE may be configured to implement a modified skipUplinkTxDynamic feature that avoids collisions by buffering transmission data of the data subscriber and sending a (later) scheduling request (SR) for a grant for that data. A DSDA UE may regulate data subscriber transmissions to avoid a transmission duration for the voice subscriber. A DSDA UE may reduce certain transmissions for a voice subscriber (subject to a block error rate (BLER) threshold for the voice subscriber) to lower the probability of collision. A DSDA UE may operate a data subscriber and a voice subscriber in the same cell to avoid collisions due to RF tuning and/or relative slot overlap.
