摘要： An inkjet printing method for decorative surfaces includes jetting an image on a first thermoplastic foil with one or more pigmented free radical UV curable inkjet inks, at least partially UV curing the jetted image on the first thermoplastic foil, inserting a layer containing a vinylchloride-vinylacetate-vinylalcohol copolymer between a second thermoplastic foil and the first thermoplastic foil with the at least partially UV cured image facing the layer containing the vinylchloride-vinylacetate-vinylalcohol copolymer. At least one of the first and second thermoplastic foils is a transparent thermoplastic foil. The one or more pigmented free radical UV curable inkjet inks contains a polymerizable composition having; 30 to 90 wt % of one or more compounds with one ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable group; 10 to 70 wt % of one or more compounds with two ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable groups; and 0 to 10 wt % of one or more compounds with three or more ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable groups.

摘要： A manufacturing method for decorating natural leather with a decorative image includes applying on a crusted leather a base coat containing a pigment for providing a chromatic colour or an achromatic colour different from black, inkjet printing a colour image on the base coat using one or more pigmented UV curable inkjet inks, optionally applying a protective top coat on the image, and optionally applying a heat pressing or embossing step, wherein the chromatic colour or the achromatic colour different from black of the base coat and the inkjet printed colour image are used in combination to provide the decorative image.
