摘要: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for gathering raw Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) phase measurements at a GNSS receiver and making them available to a remote device for processing to calculate a position fix for the GNSS receiver. The measurements are arranged in a first subset and a second subset. First bits of the first subset and second bits of the second subset are embedded in one or more data messages for transmission to the remote device. The first bits include a coarse part and a fine part of the respective phase measurement. In contrast, the second bits describe at least a portion of the fine part, but none of the coarse part, of the respective phase measurement.

摘要: In a method for protecting payload data transmitted via a one-to-many communication channel from a provider device to at least one receiver device a public key set (PK) supporting asymmetric bilinear pairings is generated. A number of receiver device keys (DKi) that are generated based on the public key set (PK) are distributed to respective devices including the at least one receiver device. A provider key (K) is generated based on the public key set (PK) and inter alia on an encryption random number (t) and stored in the provider device. An envelope (ENV) is generated based on the public key set (PK) and on the encryption random number (t) and is distributed, via the one-to-many communication channel, to the respective devices including the at least one receiver device. The at least one receiver device generates a receiver key, which corresponds to the provider key, based on the distributed envelope (ENV) and the distributed receiver device key (DKi). The provider device encrypts and/or signs the payload data employing the provider key (K) for producing protected payload data and distributes them via the one-to-many communication channel to the respective devices. The at least one receiver device processes, e.g. by decrypting and/or authenticating, the protected payload data employing the receiver key.

摘要: A method of and a receiver for mitigating multipath interference in a global navigation satellite system. In accordance with an embodiment, GNSS signals are received from a plurality of satellites in at least two frequency bands. A likelihood indicator is determined which is indicative of how likely the received GNSS signals are affected by multipath interference. In response to the likelihood indicator, all GNSS signals from at least one frequency band of the at least two frequency bands are discounted. The received GNSS signals are processed by taking into account said discounting of all GNSS signals in the at least one frequency band. The discounting may include assigning less weight to the discounted frequency bands or disregarding each of the discounted frequency bands in their entirety.

The first strategy for fixing the one or more first carrier range ambiguities is different from the second strategy for fixing the one or more second carrier range ambiguities. The method further includes: selecting a set of fixed carrier range ambiguities from among a plurality of different sets of fixed carrier range ambiguities, the plurality including at least the one or more fixed first carrier range ambiguities and the one or more fixed second carrier range ambiguities; and estimating the position based on the selected set of fixed carrier range ambiguities.
