In a method for calibrating a star probe of an image measuring machine, the star probe includes one or more probe heads. Probe configuration information for the star probe is configured when there is no probe configuration file of the star probe stored in a storage device of the image measuring machine, and one of the probe heads to be calibrated is selected from the star probe. The method calibrates a radius value of the selected probe head, and calibrates the deviation between the center point of the selected probe head and the focus of the camera lens. The method further generates a star probe model of the star probe according to the probe configuration information and the probe calibration information, and displays the star probe model of the star probe on a display device of the image measuring machine.

Abstract:
A print server and method for forwarding printing data in a network are provided. The print server receives an IP address of a printer and a uniform resource identifier of printing data from a mobile station. The print server determines which printer corresponds to the IP address and forwards the printing data to the printer for printing, thereby allowing a mobile station to print data in remote locations. The mobile station does not have to format the printing data or transmit the formatted printing data, thereby reducing the burden on the operating system and the storage space of the mobile station.

A computing device reads an entire image of an object. The entire image is spliced by a plurality of part images. A user selects an area on the entire image. The computing device determines a first number of first pixel points between a center point of the selected area and a center point of each covered image. The converted images are part images that the selected area covers. The coordinate values of the center point of the selected area are calculated according to the first number of pixel points and a size of each pixel point of the entire image. The computing device calculates coordinate values of each point of a selected area according to the size of each pixel point and the coordinate values of the center point of the selected area.

A system and method for submitting a patent application electronically includes converting a specification and figures of the patent application saved in a storage device into an application body extensible (ABX) word file, converting the ABX word file into an extensible markup language (XML) file and a portable document format (PDF) file, downloading patent details of the patent application from the storage device. The method further includes inputting the patent details to each textbox on a patent submission webpage of a designated patent office website, reading a title of the patent application and the number of claims from the XML file and the PDF file, and creating XML nodes of the patent details for the XML file to obtain an application file package, transferring the application file package to a remote server located at a designated patent office.

The method includes receiving a floor request message related to a first media type at a dispatch network controller from a first user and receiving a floor grant request message related to a second media type at the dispatch network controller from the first user. The method searches a measuring process of the image measuring machine, records a closed status of the image measuring machine if the measuring process has not been found, obtains status information of the image measuring machine if the measuring process has been found, and calculates a variation of the status information. The method further records a stopped status of the image measuring machine if the variation of the status information is less than a preset value within a specified length of time, or records an operating status of the image measuring machine if the variation of the status information is greater than or equal to the preset value within the specified length of time.
