Abstract:
There is provided a recording apparatus including a first accommodating section, a transporting mechanism, a first path which includes a curved path portion, a second path which is extended linearly, a third path which includes a curved path portion, and a fourth path which is extended linearly, and a recording section. The transporting mechanism includes a guide surface extended linearly, which is configured to define the second path, and to guide one side end of the recording medium, and a pair of inclined feeding rollers which is configured to transport the recording medium with respect to the guide surface to bring the one side end of the recording medium to the guide surface. The recording section is arranged along the fourth path. The first accommodating section, the second path, and the fourth path are overlapped in a vertical direction.
Abstract:
An image recording apparatus including: (a) a first conveyor configured to convey a recording medium along a first conveyance path; (b) a first recording head; (c) a second conveyor configured to convey the recording medium along a second conveyance path; (d) a second recording head; (e) a third conveyor configured to convey the recording medium along a third conveyance path; and (f) a posture changer configured to change a posture of at least a downstream-side portion of the first conveyor between a first angular posture and a second angular posture, such that at least a downstream-side part of the first conveyance path is directed to the second conveyance path when the at least the downstream-side portion of the first conveyor takes the first angular posture, and such that the at least the downstream-side part of the first conveyance path is directed to the third conveyance path when the at least the downstream-side portion of the first conveyor takes the second angular posture.
Abstract:
A recording apparatus includes a recording unit, a conveying unit disposed below the recording unit, a return path unit configured to return the recording medium from the upstream side of the recording unit to the conveying unit, and a casing. The return path unit is disposed below the conveying unit and includes a horizontal conveying path including an upper portion and a lower portion. Side walls of the casing includes a drawing port through which the conveying unit and at least the upper portion of the horizontal conveying path are drawn out, and an opening facing in a direction perpendicular to the drawing direction thereof. The inner edge of the lower end of the opening is positioned the same or lower in height than the uppermost portion of the horizontal conveying path in the return path unit.
Abstract:
An inkjet recording apparatus includes: one or more inkjet heads each having an ejection surface having a plurality of ejection openings formed thereon; and a conveyor mechanism which has a facing region facing the one or more ejection surfaces, and conveys a recording medium placed on the facing region. The inkjet recording apparatus further includes one or more moving mechanisms. Each of the one or more moving mechanisms includes a medium pusher which pushes down a recording medium towards the facing region. The each of the one or more moving mechanisms causes the medium pusher to move between a first position and a second position. The first position is such a position where a distance between the medium pusher and the facing region is further than the distance between the facing region and the ejection surfaces. The second position is such a position where the medium pusher contacts the facing region.
Abstract:
An image recording apparatus includes a recording head, first and second rollers, an endless conveyor belt wound around the first and second rollers to convey a recording medium from the first to the second roller, a first adsorber giving adsorptivity for the recording medium toward an outer surface of the conveyor belt at least in a region thereof opposed to the recording head, a third roller disposed at a position opposite to the first roller across the second roller, and an endless separation belt wound around the second and third rollers. An outer surface of the endless separation belt has adsorptivity lower than the adsorptivity given by the first adsorber. The endless separation belt receives the recording medium from the conveyor belt and conveys the recording medium from the second roller to the third roller while supporting the recording medium on the surface thereof.
Abstract:
A tape printer includes a cutter lever that is capable of moving within a prescribed operating range, a tape-cutting mechanism for cutting a printing tape after the printing tape has been printed by a thermal head when the cutter lever moves past a prescribed range, a cutter lever sensor for detecting movement of the cutter lever within the prescribed operating range, and drive circuits for halting the tape-feeding operation and printing operation controlled by a controller when the cutter lever sensor detects an operation by the cutter lever. With this construction, a printing mechanism, which includes a tape-feeding mechanism, is completely halted when a cutter unit is operated, thereby eliminating all tape jams.
Abstract:
A sheet feeding device, including: a sheet cassette configured to accommodate sheets; a conveyance path through which each of the sheets accommodated in the sheet cassette is conveyed; a rotation roller provided at one of a start point and a vicinity thereof in the conveyance path; a motor configured to rotatably drive the rotation roller; a pressure body configured to come into pressing contact with the rotation roller via the sheet; and a moving mechanism configured to separate the rotation roller and the pressure body, which are in pressing contact with each other, away from each other in dependence on drive stop of the motor.
Abstract:
An inkjet recording apparatus includes: one or more inkjet heads each having an ejection surface having a plurality of ejection openings formed thereon; and a conveyor mechanism which has a facing region facing the one or more ejection surfaces, and conveys a recording medium placed on the region. The inkjet recording apparatus further includes one or more moving mechanisms. Each of the one or more moving mechanisms includes a medium pusher which pushes down a recording medium towards the region. The each of the one or more moving mechanisms causes the medium pusher to move between a first position and a second position. The first position is such a position where a distance between the medium pusher and the region is further than the distance between the region and the ejection surfaces. The second position is such a position where the medium pusher contacts the region.
Abstract:
An image recording apparatus includes a recording head that records an image on a record medium, a first and a second rollers respectively having rotation shafts parallel to each other, and an endless conveyor belt which is looped around the first and second rollers, and which has an external surface for conveying thereon a record medium in a conveyance direction from the first roller toward the second roller while supporting the record medium. On the circumferential surface of the second roller, provided are a abutting region abutting the internal surface of the conveyor belt, and a larger diameter region not abutting the internal surface of the conveyor belt and having a radius surpassing a sum of a thickness of the conveyor belt and a radius of the abutting region.
