    摘要: A method is provided for facilitating efficient usage of radio capacity in a radio communication system including a communication station operable to receive, over a plurality of subchannels of the radio communication system. In this regard, the packet-formatted data has an overall sequence, and is divided into a plurality of portions receivable by the communication station over respective subchannels, where each portion has a respective link sequence. The method includes detecting missing packet-formatted data at the communication station based upon the overall sequence or at least one of the link sequences. Then, when the missing packet-formatted data is detected based upon the overall sequence, a time period is timed, and when the communication station fails to receive the missing packet-formatted data before the step of timing times out, retransmission of the missing packet-formatted data is requested.

    摘要: A method determines whether information corresponding to one of a number of carriers indicates the one carrier is loaded or unloaded, wherein the carriers are used for transmission of a MAC flow by the access terminal over a reverse link. Responsively, the transmission resource allocation corresponding to the MAC flow for the one carrier is adjusted based on information corresponding to carrier loading for each of the carriers and on information corresponding to reverse link pilot power for each of the carriers. An access terminal includes a function that determines whether the one is loaded or unloaded. Responsively, the function adjusts transmission resource allocation for the MAC flow for the one carrier based on information of carrier loading for each of the carriers and on information of reverse link pilot power for each of the carriers.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method, apparatus, system and computer program product, wherein a time division multiplex signal is received with a periodic first time period allocated to a downlink transmissions and a periodic second time period allocated to uplink transmissions. A decision time metric is obtained by correlating the received signal with a replica signal in order to detect a synchronization pattern provided in the first time period. Then, a slide window based normalization with a time window long enough to accommodate said second time period is applied to the decision time metric.
