摘要: The disclosed system comprises parent data storage containing third party data received from a data receiver. The data receiver is configured to receive all type of data and in particular, locations of known traffic hazards and enforcement points that is gathered from official sources for such information and from community contributions of users of the disclosed system. The data receiver is used in pair with data transmitter to send and receive data to and from client devices. The data received from client devices may be comprised of login information, data purchases and community contributions from users of traffic related information. User data comprising traffic traffic information may be manually or automatically configured as private, semi-private or public. Data transmission may include retransmission of private uploads of traffic information from the various client devices, as well as data feed received from official sources towards client devices.

摘要: A submarine floating periscope comprising: (a) a floating base; (b) a scanning unit for scanning and acquiring images, and; (c) cables between the submarine and the periscope for maintaining the periscope in the vicinity of the submarine, and for enabling communication between the periscope and the submarine. The scanning unit comprises: (i) a transparent dome; (b) a two-degrees of freedom gimbals system in a hollow portion below the dome. The gimbals system includes a mechanism for changing the orientation of a plate within the hollow portion by applying rotation about two perpendicular axes; (c) a light sensing element, for sensing light coming from outside the dome thereby forming images, the sensing unit being positioned on said plate, preferably in its center; and (d) a modem for transferring images data and other data between the periscope and the submarine.

摘要: The invention discloses devices and methods for providing a better grip on a slide associated with a semiautomatic firearm. In some embodiments, a metal frame is covered with a polymer-mineral mixture that includes steps on both a left side and a right side of a slide so as to provide maximal friction between fingers and the slide. The instant invention may aid those with wet or sweaty hands or those form whom racking a pistol is difficult by providing improved gripping features based on shape, materials, and texture of the grip enhancement elements herein described.

摘要: A circuit is configured to receive and process a signal that includes in-phase and out-of-phase components that correspond to in-phase and out-of-phase components of a time sequence of symbols. A phase sensor in the circuit is configured to determine a phase value in accordance with an equalized version of the in-phase component of the signal and the in-phase component of the time sequence of symbols. The phase sensor is further configured to generate an approximation to the out-of-phase component of the signal in accordance with a Hilbert function of order k greater than 1. Terms in the approximation that correspond to future samples of the in-phase component of the signal are replaced with terms that correspond to past samples of an error that corresponds to a difference between samples of the in-phase component of the signal and an output from a detector.
