    摘要: A washing machine having an improved structure which increases washing capacity without increasing the size of the washing machine. The washing machine includes a cabinet including an outer part and a cylindrical inner part connected to the outer part, a spin basket rotatably disposed in the inner part and including a bottom and a side wall extending from the bottom, a pulsator rotatably disposed in the spin basket, a motor provided under the spin basket, a clutch to selectively transmit power of the motor to the spin basket or the pulsator, a base plate to fix the clutch and the motor, and suspension members connecting the base plate to the upper portion of the cabinet. Wash water is stored within the spin basket and is not stored outside the spin basket during a washing cycle.

    摘要: A method for measuring the amount of electric power consumption of a refrigerator comprises the steps of: measuring the amount of electric power consumption and a time of a defrosting cycle in a refrigerator during operation of a defrosting heater after starting a measurement of the amount of electric power consumption and during two cycles of operating a compressor after operating the defrosting heater; measuring the average of electric power consumption per cycle and the average of operating time per cycle in the refrigerator during performance of refrigerating cycles after the defrosting cycle; and calculating the total amount of electric power consumption of the refrigerator using the amount of electric power consumption during the performance of the defrosting cycle, the average amount of electric power consumption of the refrigerator during the performance of the refrigerating cycle, the time for performing the defrosting cycle, and the average time for performing the refrigerating cycle.

    摘要: A power consumption prediction method and apparatus for a refrigerator having a defrosting heater is provided. In the power consumption prediction method, a defrosting timer cycle expressed as a cumulative value of an operation time of a compressor is set. The defrosting heater is activated to perform forced defrosting. The compressor is activated so that cooling cycles are completed several times. A defrosting time, a pause time and an operation time of the compressor and the energy consumed during each time are respectively detected. Based on the detected results, a unit run cycle of the refrigerator corresponding to the defrosting timer cycle is estimated. The energy consumption for a predetermined interval of time is estimated. Accordingly, the test time for power consumption prediction for the refrigerator can be shortened.
