摘要: An improvement of a radiation image detecting apparatus composed of a phosphor screen that converts radiation into visible light and a two-dimensionally extended photo-detector placed on one surface of the screen, resides in that the phosphor screen is composed of a partition that divides the screen on its plane to give small sections and phosphor-incorporated areas that are sectioned with the partition. The phosphor-incorporated areas and the partition scatter the visible light with scattering lengths of 20 to 200 &mgr;m and 0.05 to 20 &mgr;m, respectively, providing that a ratio of the former to the latter is 3.0 or higher, and each of the phosphor-incorporated areas and the partition absorbs the visible light with an absorption length of 1,000 &mgr;m or longer.

摘要: A method for processing electric signals of a radiographic image which are obtained by the steps of scanning a stimulating light beam on a stimulable phosphor sheet comprising a stimulating light-reflective or -absorbent grid and stimulable phosphor-containing microcells surrounded by the grid and having a radiographic image recorded therein in a direction along the grid and photoelectrically collecting in sequence stimulated emissions emitting from the microcells, is favorably performed by detecting a signal of a grid surrounding a microcell and a signal strength corresponding to the microcell surrounded by the grid; determining a correcting value for the detected signal strength; repeating the step of determining a correcting value for a signal strength in each microcell; and processing each signal strength detected in each microcell using each correcting value determined in each microcell, in consideration of a predetermined pixel size of the radiographic image, to obtain a corrected radiographic image data.

摘要: Using a radiation image reading method and apparatus for reading a radiation image from a stimulable phosphor sheet on which the radiation image has been recorded, the radiation image is read quickly and an image signal having a preferable S/N ratio is obtained. A laser beam emitted from a laser beam source is reflected and deflected by a rotational polygon mirror and irradiated on the stimulable phosphor sheet storing the radiation image. Light emitted from the portion whereon the laser beam has been irradiated is photoelectrically converted by a line sensor composed of a plurality of solid state photoelectric conversion devices placed in line, and an image signal representing the radiation image recorded on the sheet is obtained.

摘要: A key frame capable of being easily fitted into a product and that can be prevented from deforming in the fitting. Elastic projections (41p) elastically projecting outward are provided at the lower side and both lateral sides of a hard base (41). The elastic projections (41p) function as fixing members when a cover member for a push button switch is fitted into a housing of the product. Inside an elastic projection (41p) is provided a space (S). When the elastic projection (41p) is pressed from the outside, the space (S) enables the inwardly deformed elastic projection (41p) to enter into the space (S). As a result, the elastic projections (41p) projecting from an outer peripheral line of the hard base (41) can be elastically deformed so as to retract inside the hard base (41).

摘要: The process and apparatus introduce a carrier gas into a vacuum evaporation chamber, evaporate a film forming material from a evaporation source and deposit the evaporated film forming material on a substrate in sheet form to form a stimulable phosphor layer, thereby producing a evaporated phosphor sheet having a stimulable phosphor layer formed on the substrate. The stimulable phosphor layer is formed with substantially all areas of the evaporation source except opening for evaporation being masked to block movement of heat toward the substrate. The evaporated phosphor sheet includes the substrate and a CsBr:Eu evaporated stimulable phosphor layer deposited on the substrate. A maximum intensity of instantaneous light emission from the stimulable phosphor layer at 640 nm upon excitation by uv radiation is lower than a maximum intensity of the instantaneous light emission at 440 nm.
