摘要: Medical device balloons are formed from a tubular parison by a process or apparatus which establishes a controlled location (initiation zone) on the parison where radial expansion is initiated. Initiation within the initiation zone is achieved by heating the parison in that location to a higher temperature than the remainder of the parison for at least a portion of the blowing time. A variety of apparatus configurations are provided, some of which allow for the size and location of the initiation zone to be readily reconfigured. Balloons can also be modified, post-blowing, using heating apparatus and methods described.

摘要: An immersion mold for a medical device balloon. The mold has a cavity adapted to receive a hollow parison expandable therein to form the balloon. The cavity has a length, a first end, a second end, and a cavity wall with inner and outer surfaces. The mold form cavity wall is provided with one or a plurality of through-holes along the length thereof to facilitate entrance and egress of a heated fluid.

摘要: A cable connector assembly (100) includes an insulative housing (22) having a plurality of contacts received therein, a cable assembly (3) connected with the contacts by a printed circuit board (5), an upper shielding member (11) and a lower shielding member (12) together with the upper shielding member to form a receiving space (10). Each of the upper shielding member and the lower shielding member have a base portion (111, 121) and a plurality of vertical walls (113, 114, 115, 123, 124, 125) extending from the base portion. The lower shielding member (12) defines a stopping portion (126) to prevent the upper shielding member (11) from moving along a transverse direction. The stopping portion (126) is of U-shaped and comprises a first restricting flake (1261) and a second restricting flake (1262), and a corresponding vertical wall (113) of the upper shielding member is located between the first restricting flake (1261) and the second restricting flake (1262).

摘要: An electrical connector (100) for mating with a mating connector (700) along a mating direction includes an insulative housing (1) defining a passageway and a pair of latching members (2) inserted in the passageway. Each latching member has a resisting portion (21) and a latching portion (22) extending forwardly from the resisting portion and deformable from a first position to a second position for latching with the mating connector. The resisting portion includes an upper section (211) and a lower section formed at opposite sides of the latching portion and respectively abutting against the insulative housing along the mating direction when the latching portion is located in the second position.

In the case of a thermoplastic material characterized by one or more glass transition temperatures, the segment may optionally be maintained at a temperature below the glass transition temperature of the segment during the material removal step.
