Abstract:
A support assembly, a knife support assembly operatively linked with the support assembly, and a control system assembly operatively linked with the support assembly and with the knife support assembly deliver an adhesive sheet into a mold. The support assembly includes a side clamp and a center clamp. An adhesive sheet assembly, in cooperative engagement with the support assembly, feeds a continuous supply of adhesive sheet to the support assembly. Accordingly, the adhesive sheet travels across the support assembly and is clamped by the side clamp for cutting by the knife support assembly. The side clamp moves the cut adhesive sheet from the support assembly and, along with a side clamp rib brace coupled with the side clamp, positions the sheet in the mold. The center clamp maintains the remaining adhesive sheet in a position relative to the support assembly ensuring that the side clamp optimally clamps the adhesive sheet upon returning to the support assembly.

Abstract:
A wireless endoscopic surgical device used for minimally invasive procedures comprises a handheld component and a separate power module. The handheld component consisting of a handle and a conduit houses a wireless imaging system and a single LED light source. The imaging system comprises a wireless camera coupled to an optical assembly. Both the intensity of the LED and the camera action can be controlled by a battery-operated power module. The handle and conduit are designed to accommodate surgical tools.

Abstract:
A method for implementing a cutover of a subscriber telephone line from a telephone line of a first exchange to a telephone line of a second exchange, includes the following steps: providing a controllable switch that is operative, in response to a control signal, to couple the subscriber telephone line to either the telephone line of the first exchange or the telephone line of the second exchange; providing a controller, coupled with at least one of the telephone line of the first exchange and the telephone line of the second exchange, for producing the control signal, coupled to the switch, upon receiving a predetermined signal over said at least one of the telephone line of the first exchange and the telephone line of the second exchange; initially setting the switch to couple the subscriber telephone line to the telephone line of the first exchange; and sending the predetermined signal over at least one of the telephone line of the first exchange and the telephone line of the second exchange, whereby the controller, upon receipt of the predetermined signal, produces the control signal to cause the switch to couple the subscriber telephone line to the telephone line of the second exchange.
Abstract:
To copy a copy protected DVD (32), and thereby subvert the copy prot-ection technique, a DVD drive (50) is controlled by a disc copying program (54) to access data at a level other than that at the user data level. For example, if it is the data frame (44) which is read, the DVD drive (50) is controlled to write a data frame (12) to a copy disc (52). During the copying process, the program (54) may be arranged to remove sector IDs and error detection codes from the read data frames (44) and to generate new sector IDs and appropriate ID error detection codes for the data frames (12) to be written to the copy disc (52). This circumvents any copy protection which has been incorporated in the identification data in a data frame of the original disc (52).
Abstract:
Removable drill guide tips are pre-assembled into threaded holes of a bone plate. The tips may be used with an extension to together function as a conventional drill guide. After drilling, the extension or another tool is used to remove the tips from the plate. According to another use, the tip is used as a guide for a drill bit without any additional extension and then removed with a tool.
