    摘要: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for identifying queries having a version-intent and presenting search results in accordance with the version-intent are provided. Subject-versions associated with retrievable documents are identified and associated therewith as subject-version tags. When a search query is received, it is determined whether the query has a version-intent indicative of a particular version associated with a subject of the query. Documents are retrieved that satisfy the input query and ranked for presentation based upon the particular subject-version indicated by the version-intent. The ranked documents are then presented. Also presented is a user-manipulatable tool, manipulation of which permits a user to indicate that information concerning a different subject-version is desired. Upon receiving such indication, the search results are changed such that documents having subject-version tags indicative of the newly-indicated version-intent are ranked higher and receive more prominent placement than documents lacking such subject-version tags.

One or more objective functions are selected. Each objective function has part variables, and each part variable represents a quantity of a part to be procured from a supplier. At least one constraint constraining at least one part variable is received. The one or more objective functions are optimized with respect to the at least one constraint to yield a value for each part variable. A quantity of each part to be procured from at least one supplier is determined according to the values to generate the optimized supplier allocation plan.

    摘要: An interaction tracking facility records, stores, plays back, distributes and allows recipients to interject new events into a stored set of discrete interaction events of a dashboard. A recorder stores data that identifies dashboard annotation and analysis events so that they can be later retrieved and played back. During playback, the stored events are executed, in stepwise fashion, in another dashboard, recreating the events recorded on the first dashboard as if they were performed on the second dashboard. The second dashboard can be coupled to different data than the original dashboard without changing the stored events. Events are stored in a repository and identified by a URL, which can be sent to a recipient for retrieval. The playback can be stopped at any time, and a branch recording created with a second set of interaction events that are different from or additional to the original recording events.

In aspects, a backup target determines a degree to which a data set included on the backup target is not backed up on a backup facility. The degree can represent more than just that the data set is completely backed up or is not backed up at all. If the degree satisfies a condition, the backup target utilizes information derived from a backup history of one or more attempted or successfully completed backup sessions between the backup target and the backup facility to determine whether to provide a notification regarding backup state. The backup target also may send the degree and other backup information to a backup facility which may use this information in determining a backup scheme to employ with the backup target.

    摘要: A method and a system for managing one or more files in a communication network are provided. The system includes a server, a first client, and a second client. When the first client places a file in a virtual data drive of the first client, data segments and metadata associated with the file are uploaded at the server. The server generates a first representation of the file. The server then sends the first representation of the file to the first and second clients. The second client stores the first representation of the file in its local storage. The second client can then send a request to the server to access the file based on the first representation of the file. The requested file is sent to the second client by the server. The sent file is not cached by the second client, if the file is a secured file.

The locking device includes a yoke member, a slider member, a handle block and a lock. When the locking device is locked, the handle block abuts the operating handle in an engaged position corresponding to the operating handle in the ON or OFF position. Thus, the locking device locks the circuit breaker in the OFF position or the ON position. The locking device may further comprise a base member disposed between the yoke member and the housing. When it is desired to lock the circuit breaker in the on position, the base member is adapted to cover the push-to-trip button on the housing.

    摘要: A search engine may allow a user to add and modify geographic constraints interactively through the use of a map. In one example, the user enters a search query, and the search engine determines whether the query is amenable to a geographic constraint. If the query is amenable to a geographic constraint, then the search engine may provide an interactive map through which the user may specify a geographic boundary. The search engine may then uses the geographic boundary as a constraint on the search, and may return documents that relate to the geographic area indicated by the boundary. The user may zoom in or out on the region defined by the boundary, or may move the boundary, thereby interactively focusing, de-focusing, and modifying the search based on geography.
