Abstract:
A plastic container-cover assembly comprises (a) a container body having a top opening; (b) a first shoulder provided at the outside of the container close to the edge of its opening; (c) a cover for said opening; (d) an outside flange provided on said cover and extending downwardly and then at a sharp angle outwards, the outwardly pointed portion of the flange in the closed position abutting the upper side of said first container shoulder; (e) a hinge provided in proximity to the outer edge of said outwardly pointed portion of said flange; (f) at least two rigid closure flaps linked by said hinge to said flange for swinging from an open to a closed position; (g) a first ledge formed on said flap and, in the closed position, extending inwards and abutting against the bottom side of said first container shoulder; (h) a second, when closed, inwardly extending ledge formed on said flap spaced from said first ledge; (i) a second shoulder formed on the outside of said container spaced from said first shoulder, and (j) interlocking closure means formed on said second ledge of the flap and on the second shoulder of the container for securing the flap in the closed position.
Abstract:
A method for controlling a tissue processor and a tissue processor for processing tissue samples is described. A retort is provided including a cover that can be opened and closed by an operator. The retort cover is closed prior to tissue processing. The actuation state of a first and a second operating element can be determined. An operator is prompted to confirm unlocking of the closed retort cover by actuating a second operating element. The tissue processing is interrupted when an actuation of the second operating element is determined and the closed retort cover is unlocked and is continued after the retort cover is once again locked. After having completed tissue processing the retort cover is unlocked. By means of the described method and tissue processor improper intervention during ongoing tissue processing is prevented.

Abstract:
A flat-bed knitting machine having a needle bed apparatus and an associated carriage apparatus movable longitudinally thereon and having a data processing unit which controls the cams and/or selector units among others and store pattern information in memory and which has an input keyboard is described. To make the input keyboard accessible to the operator of such a machine during observation of the knitting process, yet not have this keyboard hinder access to the essential parts of the machine, the input keyboard is disposed, from the standpoint of the machine operator, at the level of and in an area in front of the needle bed and carriage apparatus in the longitudinal direction of the machine, in front of a transparent cover, which is also movable in the longitudinal direction of the machine, keyboard being movable parallel to and independently of this cover.
