    摘要: An inorganic/organic composite foam that has a foam structure obtained from a combination of a phosphoric acid compound and/or a sulfuric acid compound with a blowing agent therefor, has reduced brittleness due to a cured material of an urethane prepolymer having NCO groups, and contains a powdery boric acid compound, and a process for producing the same. The foam is not only reduced in brittleness but also improved in foam strength after combustion due to the incorporation of the powdery boric acid compound while retaining inherent foam properties and inherent low quantities of heat of combustion and smoking in combustion. It is used in exterior wall panels, heat insulating materials, sound insulating materials, fireproof covering materials, lightweight aggregates, filling materials for cavities, and the like, which are required to have fire-proofing performance.

    摘要: A polyurethane foam which is obtained by reacting an addition-polymerizable active hydrogen component comprising a compound having a group containing active hydrogen and an addition-polymerizable functional group or comprising both this compound and a compound containing at least 2.5 groups (on the average) containing active hydrogen and not containing addition-polymerizable functional groups with an organic polyisocyanate in the presence or absence of at least one auxiliary selected from the group consisting of foaming agents and additives to polymerize the addition-polymerizable functional group and simultaneously form a polyurethane, and which has a structure in which the chains formed by the addition polymerization have been cross-linked to the polyurethane chains. The polyurethane foam is useful as a rigid polyurethane foam excellent in hardness, dimensional stability, etc. and usable as a heat insulator, shock-absorbing material, synthetic wood, etc., or is useful as a soft polyurethane foam reduced in compression set and usable as a cushioning material, shock-absorbing material, sound insulating/absorbing material, etc.

    摘要: This invention provides a polymer polyol composition (I) comprising a polyol (A) and polymer particles (B) dispersed in (A), the polymer particles (B) being formed by polymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated compound (b) in a polyol, wherein the content of (B) in (I) is from 35 to 75 mass %, based on the mass of (I), and the amount of soluble polymers (P) dissolved in (A) is not more than 5 mass %, based on the mass of (A), and provides methods for producing the polymer polyol composition (I). Further, this invention provides a method for producing a foamed or non-foamed polyurethane resin, which method comprises reacting a polyol component with a polyisocyanate component in the presence or absence of a blowing agent, wherein the above polymer polyol composition is used at least as a portion of the polyol component. A polymer polyol having a low viscosity and excellent dispersion stability is provided even when having a high concentration of polymer particles, and is used advantageously to produce polyurethane resins having excellent 25% ILD (hardness) and compression set, or foams thereof, with good operation efficiency.
