Abstract:
An image forming apparatus has a structure in which a toner image formed in an electrophotographic process is transferred from an intermediate transfer belt to a member to be transferred. The apparatus includes a secondary transfer roller that becomes a pressure contact state with respect to the intermediate transfer belt to make it perform a transfer process and can move between the pressure contact state and a separated state, and a press and separation driving device for driving the secondary transfer roller to become the pressure contact state and the separated state. The pressure contact state or the separated state of the secondary transfer roller is detected in accordance with a variation of an output of an IDC sensor for detecting a state of a bare surface of the intermediate transfer belt.
Abstract:
An apparatus, a method and a system for image processing with a color correction device are provided in which the number of times of automatic execution of calibration is reduced and the performance of an image output apparatus is used adequately. The apparatus includes a color space conversion portion 110 for converting input image data D1 into data D1s of a standard color space and a reproduction range decision portion 111 for deciding whether the input image data D1s that were converted into the standard color space are within a reference range of a color reproduction in an image output. If it is decided that the input image data are out of the reference range, the calibration is performed so that the color reproduction range is made close to the reference range.
Abstract:
An image reading apparatus for reading an image of an original while transporting the original from an original tray to an image reading position. When an original once read has to be read again due to some trouble, the original is automatically transported to an original tray provided upstream of the reading position so that the original can be automatically read again without operator intervention.
Abstract:
A facsimile apparatus having a page memory includes a memory having a capacity of at least one line data that is printed by a printer. The reception signal of the facsimile apparatus received and compressed is expanded for printing, and written into the memory. The printer prints the message received according to the written expanded data.
Abstract:
A facsimile device according to the present invention includes a reception device for receiving compressed image data, a memory for storing the compressed image data, a first expansion device for expanding the stored compressed image data, a detection comparison device for detecting the amount of the expanded image data and obtaining the difference between the amount and a prescribed value, a second expansion device for expanding the stored compressed image data again after the detection by the detection comparison device, an image formation device for forming an image on paper based on the image data expanded again, and a control device for controlling the image formation device based on the difference obtained by the detection comparison device.
Abstract:
A facsimile machine has a paper discharge tray, and a device for shifting image-carrying recording paper as placed on the discharge tray. The recording paper further carries information relating to senders as recorded on a leading end margin thereof. The shifting device is operable for shifting the recording paper in the direction of paper discharge in timed relation to an operation for recording each series of image data. Consequently, the recording paper is sorted on the discharge tray for visual identification of the senders.
Abstract:
A facsimile apparatus comprising a document image reader for forming an image data corresponding to a document image; a data processor having multiple data processing modes for processing the image data with a mode selected; a memory having multiple memory areas, each of which stores information on a facsimile apparatus of an addressee, the above information comprising at least a line number and an addressee data processing mode; a data processor is controlled to process the image data with the data processing mode related with an addressee that has been selected; and a transmitter for transmitting the image data processed by the data processing means to the addressee selected.
Abstract:
There are disclosed an image forming apparatus such as a digital copying machine and an image forming method. In the image forming apparatus and method, there are transformed supplied reference color image data into plural sample image data having color tones stepwisely different from each other by multiplying the reference color image data one by one by supplied plural color adjustment coefficients, and then, there are recorded plural sample images corresponding to the plural sample image data on a piece of recording paper. When the operator selects one of the plural sample images, a controller alters the supplied reference color image data into another reference color image data responsive to color adjustment coefficients of the selected one of the plural sample images.
Abstract:
Provided is by the present invention is a method for producing an EVOH resin having sufficient long-run workability in melt molding and enabling prevention of coloring such as yellowing, an EVOH resin obtained by this method for production, and a laminate obtained from this resin. The present invention is a method for producing an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer resin, the method including a step of saponifying an ethylene-vinyl ester copolymer to obtain an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, in which the method is characterized by further including a step of irradiating the ethylene-vinyl ester copolymer or the ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer with an infrared ray.
