摘要: A machine tool has a tool retainer for retaining a tool, a motor and a drivetrain which couples the motor with the tool retainer for transmitting a torque. A system pushbutton is coupled with a motor control. When the system pushbutton is activated by a user, the motor control controls the motor in such a way that the motor turns in a first sense of rotation for a duration and then in a sense of rotation opposed to the first sense of rotation. The duration is shorter than 100 ms.

摘要: An eyewear retainer includes a flexible elongated arm and a flexible leg extending downwardly from the posterior end of the arm. Elastic bands on the arm receive and engage a wide range of temple arms of eyewear. The leg extends behind a wearer's ear when the temple arm of the eyewear is engaged by the elastic bands. The retainer is buoyant and may include a bulbous buoyancy cell containing a buoyant object on the lateral side of the leg. Thermal medium compartments are attached to the medial side of the retainer arm and retainer leg. Each thermal medium compartment removably contains a thermal medium, such as a cooling medium or a heating medium. A pressure sensitive skin-contacting adhesive is provided on the outer skin-contacting side (i.e., the medial side) of the thermal medium compartment located on the retainer leg. The retainer leg and arm may be comprised of a material including a thermochromic additive and/or a hydrochromic additive configured to change color when the retainer is submerged in water.

摘要: A process for continuous or quasi-continuous purification of a multi-component mixture (Fd) by means of at least four individual chromatographic columns through which the mixture is fed by means of at least one solvent (s), is given, wherein the multicomponent mixture (Fd) is to be separated into an integer number n of fractions (Fi), wherein n is at least 5. The columns are grouped into at least six sections ((α1, . . . , αn-3, β1, . . . , βn-3, Y, δ), wherein each section ((α1, . . . , αn-3, βi, . . . , βn-3, γ, δ) comprises at least one column with the proviso that the function of sections can be fulfilled sequentially and can be realized by single columns. There are least two collection, at least two recycling sections (β1, . . . , βn-3), a strongly adsorbing component collection section (γ) and a feed section (δ) The functions of the sections ((α1, . . . , αn-3, βi, . . . , βn-3, γ, δ) are either fulfilled synchronously or sequentially, and columns are run in at least one batch mode position in which the outlets of one or at least two collection section columns ((α1, . . . , (an-3) are used to collect intermediate fractions (F2, . . . , Fn-3) as well as in at least continuous or quasi-continuous mode position, in which the outlets of at least two recycling section columns (β1, . . . , βn-3) are fluidly connected with the corresponding inlets of subsequent downstream recycling sections or, in the absence of a subsequent downstream recycling section, into said feed section. In said batch mode and said continuous or quasi-continuous mode are either realized synchronously or sequentially, wherein after or within a switch time (t*) the columns are moved in their positions in a counter direction to the general direction of flow of the solvent, wherein after or within a switch time (t*) the first column from each collection section ((α1, . . . , αn-3) is moved to the last position of the corresponding recycling section (β1, . . . , βn-3), the first column of the most upstream recycling section (β1) is moved to the first position of the strongly adsorbing component collection section (γ) and the first columns of the further recycling sections (β2, . . . , βn-3) are moved to the last position of the next upstream collection section ((α1, . . . , αn-4), the first column of the strongly adsorbing component collection section (γ) is moved to the last position of the feed section (δ) and the first column of the feed section (δ) is moved to become the last column of the most downstream collection section ((αn-3).

摘要: An apparatus is provided for filling an empty shaft tray with rod-shaped products. The shaft tray has shaft walls which form a plurality of shafts. The apparatus includes a filling hopper having a receiving region for a mass flow composed of the products, and a storage region for products comprising a front wall, a rear wall, side walls and a bottom wall. The storage region includes partitions that form a plurality of shafts adjacent to each other, wherein the partitions substantially extend over a full height of the storage region, and wherein the rear wall of the storage region includes openings for passage of the shaft walls of the shaft tray. A delivery element delivers the empty shaft tray into the receiving region of the filling hopper to be filled with the products. A removal element removes a filled shaft tray from the filling hopper.
