    摘要: A polymer composition includes a polymer and a flame retardant. The flame retardant includes: at least one nucleic-acid-related substance that is selected from the group consisting of a nucleic acid base, a nucleoside, a nucleotide and a polynucleotide; and/or at least one derivative of the nucleic-acid-related substance. The derivative is selected from the group consisting of: (a) a sulfate, a nitrate, a borate, a hydrochloride or an isocyanurate of the nucleic acid base; (b) a metal salt of the nucleotide; and (c) a compound obtained by substituting an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group or a mercapto group for a hydrogen atom that is bonded to a nitrogen atom of the nucleic acid base, the nucleoside or the nucleotide.

    摘要: A nonslip walking stick rest disposed at a lower end of a walking stick, is characterized that, the walking stick rest is provided with a pliable plastic tray having a nonslip surface at a lower housing; the lower housing has a spherical recess provided with a shaft having a sphere at an interior thereof above the lower housing is a fixed middle housing; the shaft is provided with an upper housing; a spring is disposed at the upper portion of the shaft, and between the upper housing and the middle housing; and the upper housing has an insertion end for inserting to the lower end of the walking stick. When the walking stick is propped on the ground, the lower housing of the walking stick rest is capable of automatic adaptations for staying closely to the ground and preventing slipping.

    摘要: The dye transfer type thermal printing sheet of the present invention comprises(a) a substrate, and(b) a lamina comprisinga dye andeither a cured product of a moisture curing type resin or a reaction-cured product of a moisture curing type resin and a reactive silicone oil,on at least one side of the substrate.According to the present invention, a surface release property and surface lubricity can easily be imparted to the color material layer or to the surface layer. Further, since no crosslinking agent is required to cure the resin, curing at low temperature becomes possible. The dye transfer type thermal printing sheet of the present invention can provide a printing sheet useful for high speed recording and/or relative speed recording.

    摘要: The invention provides a nonlinear optical material comprising a compound represented by the general formula (1): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 denotes an electron attractive group, R.sup.2 denotes a group selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, methyl group, methoxy group and electron attractive group, R.sup.3 denotes a straight-chain alkylene group, and X denotes an oxygen or sulfur atom. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing a nonlinear optical material comprising the steps of dissolving a compound represented by the general formula (1) in an organic solvent, and evaporating the solvent while keeping its temperature constant or lowering its temperature, thereby growing a crystal of the compound represented by the general formula (1). The nonlinear optical material of the invention possessing a molecular structure realized by linking structures having a strong electron attractive group and weak electron donative portion with straight-chain alkylene portions, and thus a nonlinear optical material having a shortened absorption edge wavelength and excellent crystallinity may be obtained. These nonlinear optical materials can be effectively utilized as the nonlinear optical material for an optical wavelength converter.

The dye transfer sheet of the present invention can be used in a multiple-use mode printing system including a relative speed printing.
