Abstract:
In order to provide a stapler in which a large volume of paper can be fastened together with a small magnitude of force in a stable fashion, there is provided a stapler 1 having a base portion 2 which comprises a rotatable clinching portion 10, a magazine portion 3 which is pivotally attached to rotate to a position on the base portion 2 thereabove which lies in the vicinity of a rear end thereof by a spindle 25, a push-down portion 5 which is pivotally attached to rotate to a position on the base portion 2 which lies in the vicinity of the rear end thereof in such a manner as to be disposed above the magazine portion 3 and which has a driving blade 46 in the vicinity of a front end thereof, and a handle member 6 which is pivotally attached to rotate to a handle support member 7 which is fixed to the base portion 2 in a position on the handle member 6 which lies in the vicinity of a front end thereof and which is adapted to be brought into contact with the vicinity of a front end of an upper portion of the push-down member 5 so as to lower the push-down member 5, wherein the clinching portion 10 comprises a slider 13 which slides along sliding support shafts 17 to permit a lowering operation of the clinching portion 10, and wherein the handle member 6 comprises a roller 61 in a position which is in contact with the push-down portion 5.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an indicator device for a vehicle with an automatic transmission, which comprises a plurality of light-emitting elements 52a each adapted to be lighted up when one of P, R and N gear ranges corresponding thereto is selected, and a digital indicator 53 adapted to indicate an alphabet character “D” when a D gear range is selected, and indicate a numeric character representing a gear position when a M gear range (manual shift mode) is selected. The indication device of the present invention makes it possible to utilize a space of an instrument panel with higher efficiency and offer enhanced visibility for a driver, while avoiding increase in production cost.
Abstract:
A stapling operation can be performed with a comparatively small force. The stapler includes a base frame with a support element, and an operation frame pivotally attached to the support element through a main shaft. A staple pressure lower plate is disposed at the operation frame and drives staples stored in a staple magazine upon rotation of the operation frame. The stapler further includes a handle frame at an upper part of the operation frame pivotally attached to the support element such that a rear end part of the operation frame is located above the main shaft. An intermediate element is pivotally attached at one end to the handle frame. The other end of the intermediate element is pivotally attached to the operation frame.
Abstract:
A flat-type stapler is provided which can fasten a large number of sheets of paper with a small force and in a smooth fashion. The stapler includes a base portion, a magazine portion, a push-down member, handle supporting members, and a handle portion. The handle portion causes the push-down portion to descend by virtue of the principle of the lever with the handle shaft made to act as a movable fulcrum. A portion of the handle may be used to apply force, and the connecting shaft may be used as a point of action.
Abstract:
The invention provides a stapler that the irregular movement of a bound object may be deterred by holding steadily the bound object with the lower side of a staple storing frame and a paper placing stand, a staple pressure lowering plate may push staples out effectively to reach a dead point in the upper and lower stroke, and the right and left legs of the staple may be pushed out in a balanced manner from the staple storing frame. The stapler comprises the staple storing frame having a staple discharge port, a staple receiving board for receiving a discharged staple, and the paper placing stand for placing the bound object, wherein a protruded part is formed near the discharge port of the staple storing frame and a recessed part is formed in a position that is on the paper placing stand and corresponds to the protruded part.

Abstract:
A liquid crystal display apparatus for conducting display in at least two types of display mode using a plurality of pixels arranged in columns and rows, includes: an active matrix substrate having a plurality of pixel electrodes arranged in a matrix formed thereon; a counter substrate opposed to the active matrix substrate, the counter substrate having a first electrode means and a second electrode means; and a liquid crystal layer which is interposed the active matrix substrate and the counter substrate and includes a plurality of liquid crystal regions. The liquid crystal regions have viewing directions different from each other, the viewing directions being determined in accordance with orientations of liquid crystal molecules in the center of the respective liquid crystal regions. At least one of the first electrode means and the second electrode means, which is selected depending on the types of display mode, is used for selectively applying a voltage to the liquid crystal layer together with the pixel electrodes.
