Abstract:
A semiconductor device includes an insulation film formed above a semiconductor substrate, a conductor containing Cu formed in the insulation film, and a layer film formed between the insulation film and the conductor and formed of a first metal film containing Ti and a second metal film different from the first metal film, a layer containing Ti and Si is formed on the surface of the conductor.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus includes a display portion that displays a condition input screen on which a user enters a condition for a process of printing or scanning an image, a control portion that, when first operation is performed, controls a storage portion to store the condition thus entered, a retrieval portion that, if second operation is performed, reads out the condition from the storage portion, a re-display portion that displays again the condition input screen in a state where the condition thus read out is entered, and a process execution portion that, if third operation is performed, executes the process of printing or scanning an image based on a latest condition stored in the storage portion.
Abstract:
An image processing system comprises a job cooperation server for executing a predetermined processing necessary for execution of a job; an image processing device for cooperating with the job cooperation server and executing the job; an authentication server for executing user authentication and issuing an underlying ticket corresponding to a user and for issuing a ticket to use the job cooperation server based on the underlying ticket; and an information processing device for acquiring and storing the underlying ticket by sending a request for authentication to the authentication server and for acquiring the ticket to use the job cooperation server from the authentication server with the underlying ticket. The information processing device acquires the ticket to use the job cooperation server from the authentication server with the underlying ticket and transmits to the image processing device. The image processing device executes the job through cooperation with the job cooperation server.

Abstract:
A method for managing a resource is provided. A personal card recording, thereon, a user identification code for identifying a user is issued to the user. A registration card recording, thereon, a registration code is prepared. The user identification code is stored in a temporary user storage portion when the user identification code and the registration code are read out, for user registration, from the personal card and the registration card respectively during a predetermined period. If the user identification code is read out from the personal card in order for the user to use the resource and the user identification code is stored in the temporary user storage portion, then the user is allowed to access the resource. If such user identification code is not stored in the temporary user storage portion, then the user is forbidden to access the resource.
Abstract:
When there are a plurality of candidate image forming apparatuses that are to be turned ON, a CPU refers to an MFP wearout degree table and obtains wearout degree of each candidate. Then, the CPU determines whether there is any candidate of which wearout degree is lower than a prescribed lower threshold value or not. If there is a candidate of which wearout degree is lower than the prescribed lower threshold value, the CPU determines the image forming apparatus as the object to be powered ON.
