摘要: This invention relates to a device for driving ranging-type coal planer as well as to an idler in the return device for said coal planer. When a coal planer is used in a conveyor system on the coal face, advance and retreat of said coal planer cause the coal planer chain which interlocks with the driving wheel to slacken. The invention also relates to a driving device for ranging-type coal planers wherein tension is applied to said driving wheel in a fixed direction to prevent the coal planer chain from slackening, and where, the wheel on the coal planer''s return side supporting said coal planer chain is freely coupled onto the axis of the face conveyor wheel so as not to be affected by the rotation of said axis.

摘要: The invention relates to a pantographic wall protector which prevents the coal face from being crushed and massive chunks of coal from falling onto the face conveyor when, in a long-wall coal mining face, earth pressure is created as a result of the advancing of a coal mining machine; for example, when a drum shearer advances at a speed of approximately 10 meters per minute; and also relates to an automatic controlling device which provides automatic operation of said protector. More particularly, the invention relates to a pantographic wall protector in which a wall protecting plate is either extended toward the wall or folded toward the inner side of the tipping beam of a self-advancing support, by means of a link mechanism and oil-pressure cylinders, and also relates to an automatic controlling device for the pantographic wall protector, wherein a magnet is inserted in a non-movable member, and a lead switch set in the drum shearer which passes over said magnet so that the pantographic wall protector will operate with the advancing of the drum shearer.

摘要: A coal planer having an elongated stationary main body, forward and rear sections with a gate side drive frame extending between these sections along one side thereof, upper and lower portions to said main body, and a coal planer body extending along said one side for longitudinal motion. A drive chain extends along said frame on said one side to drive said coal planer body, with driver units coupled to drive said chain including a ranging arm towards said rear section and a return wheel towards said front section. A conveyor trough is operatively coupled to and driven by said chain. On the upper portion is a magnet. A plurality of reed switches on said conveyor trough are disposed so as to magnetically couple to said magnet as they pass before said magnet. Reversal means are operatively coupled to said reed switches and to said driver units.

摘要: In mining excavations a gate automatically advancing support which is shiftable, by a simple operation simultaneously with the shift of a conveyor is provided. There are a plurality of support members for supporting the roof between the front and rear ends of the drive unit on the gate side of the gate road; said plurality of support members each consist of a front and a rear support, both of which are separately formed; these front and rear supports each have roof bars which are connected through couplings; said front and rear supports including roof bars are adopted to be simultaneously advanced by the actuation of shifters; a link mechanism connecting roof bars and a skid of each support controls the motion of said roof bars and skid; and the front supports of respective support members hold a skid of a charge conveyor therebetween, so that the gate self-advancing support is shifted in a desired direction, and the adjustment of the advancing direction of the support is not required.

Resilient elements are connected to a bottom plate of a separator frame or a face conveyor trough supporting the separator, and these resilient elements are adapted to permit only the conveyor chains and scrapers attached therebetween to pass between the separator and the bottom plate, without allowing the entry of coal.
