In an exemplary embodiment, geometric extra-redundancy almost fixed solutions provide superior accuracy and integrity for GPS navigation applications.

    摘要: Improved alternate routing in a packet switching system is provided by inserting alternate routing control information into each packet and by storing alternate routing information at each network node. The stored information at each node includes a list of the available paths extending from the node towards all other nodes together with a list of available algorithms that can be used to select one of the available routes. The alternate routing control information in each packet contains postage information specifying the maximum number of nodes through which the packet is to travel. The alternate routing control information also includes a destination node index code identifying the destination node. The destination node index is used as address information by each node receiving a packet to read out the stored information at the node identifying the available paths and the algorithm to be used in selecting one of these paths for use in transmitting the packet towards the destination node. The identified algorithm is then executed to select the path to be used.

    摘要: A differential global positioning system (DGPS) processor can include an almost fixed integer ambiguity (AFIA) module for generating in real-time a multiple dimensional state vector of integer ambiguities and multiple dimensional corrections. The AFIA module can use double difference (DD) measurements for pseudo-range (PR) and carrier phase (CP) pairs generated from at least three global positioning system (GPS) receivers. A DGPS processor can be included in a high data rate real time attitude determination (RTAD) system to achieve high heading accuracy with high integrity.

    摘要: An antenna system for generating and configuring at least one defocused beam is provided. The antenna system includes a reflector having a focal plane and a non-parabolic curvature for forming the at least one defocused beam, and a plurality of feed antennas that illuminate the reflector. Each feed antenna is disposed in the focal plane of the reflector. The antenna system further includes at least one incoming signal dividing network that divides at least one incoming signal into a plurality of sub-signals, each corresponding to one of the feed antennas, a plurality of variable phase shifters, each receiving one of the sub-signals from the incoming signal dividing network and phase shifting the sub-signal to generate a corresponding phase-shifted sub-signal, and a plurality of fixed-amplitude amplifiers, at least one corresponding to each of the feed antennas. The at least one amplifier for each feed antenna amplifies the corresponding phase-shifted sub-signal to generate an amplified phase-shifted sub-signal which is provided to the corresponding feed antenna.
