Abstract: In one embodiment of the present disclosure a method may include presenting, on a user interface, a single aimer indicator to identify when a first parameter of a tool is satisfied, wherein the first parameter pertains to a first axis associated with the tool. The method may include modifying a first aspect of the single aimer indicator to identify when a second parameter of the tool changes, wherein the second parameter pertains to a second axis associated with the tool. The method may include determining when a threshold associated with the second parameter is satisfied. Responsive to determining the threshold associated with the second parameter is satisfied, the method may include modifying a second aspect of the single aimer indicator to represent the tool is in coaxial alignment.

The cutting blade (765) may include a leading cutting edge and a trailing cutting edge. The blade assembly (350, 750) and blade guide (320) may cooperate to control a depth of blade penetration into a tissue, as the blade slides along the elongate slot (330). The blade guide (320) may include means to stabilize the guide with the tissue.

Abstract: A knotless tissue repair construct is disclosed herein. The construct includes a soft anchor body, with a proximal end, a distal end, and a longitudinal axis extending therebetween. The construct also includes a repair suture fixedly coupled to the anchor body. The construct also includes a transfer suture interwoven repeatedly through and along the anchor body defining a transfer path. Tension on at least one of the repair suture and transfer suture may deploy the anchor body. A transfer suture first end may transfer the repair suture through the anchor body to form a repair loop that may knotless lock the tissue repair construct.

Abstract: Methods of making an enhanced bioactive PRP implant include supplying a centrifuge container with a collagen-based scaffold pre-inserted onto a moveable filter within the vial. A centrifuge process for creating the PRP implant is followed, resulting in a PRP/collagen implant combination. Other biologics may be added to the container instead of or in addition to the collagen-based scaffold. Additionally, methods of fixing the PRP implant into place at the point of a tear or wound include applying the PRP implant adjacent to or within a meniscal tear, or underneath or on top of a rotator cuff tear. Suture or staples may then be routed either through or over the PRP implant to hold the implant in place.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include an external fixation system that includes at least one external fixation strut that is both acutely adjustable and precisely adjustable and related methods of adjustment. Acute adjustment may be accomplished using one or more mobile jaws that may be engaged with or disengage from a threaded rod of each external fixation strut. Precise adjustment of each external fixation strut may be accomplished after releasing a lock biased toward a locked position. When each external fixation strut's lock is released, a portion of each of the precise adjustment mechanism of each external fixation strut may be activated to increase and decrease the length of each of the at least one external fixation struts.

Abstract: Methods and system for characterizing ligament properties using elastography are disclosed. An ultrasound system capable of performing shear wave elasticity imaging and/or supersonic shear imaging may retrieve one or more images from a proposed surgical site. The one or more images may be provided to a surgical planning system that identifies one or more properties of ligaments proximate to the surgical site. Musculoskeletal simulations may be performed using the identified properties to preoperatively identify a surgical plan. Preoperative identification of a surgical plan may enable a surgeon to select from more fine-tuning options for a joint replacement than conventional systems.

Abstract: A surgical anchor delivery device includes a shaft, a plurality of anchors disposed within the shaft, and a threaded rod disposed within the shaft and threadably engaged with the anchors. Rotation of the threaded rod advances the anchors toward the distal end of the shaft without rotating the anchors relative to the shaft. The delivery device may include an actuation mechanism configured to rotate the threaded rod. A method of delivering the anchors may include advancing the distal end of the shaft to a first location, rotating the threaded rod to advance a first anchor out the distal end of the shaft without rotating the first anchor relative to the shaft, repositioning the distal end of the shaft to a second position, and rotating the threaded rod to advance a second anchor out the distal end of the shaft without rotating the second anchor relative to the shaft.
