The apparatus may radiate a polarized beam of light to a device, such as a surface plasmon resonance generator, and may measure variations in a temperature of the device to detect whether a surface plasmon resonance has occurred. The detection of a surface plasmon resonance may be associated with the presence of a particular material such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs) or materials disrupting ozone, for example.

    摘要: There is a problem in that it is inconvenient to use a conventional communication pad since a user cannot diversely adjust a direction of the communication pad. The present invention relates to a communication pad mounting structure of a refrigerator. In the present invention, a front of a door of a refrigerator is formed with a seating space. The upper and lower portions of the seating space are formed with slots elongated from side to side, respectively. The holder for supporting a communication pad is mounted in the seating space tiltably from side to side. To this end, there are provided a pair of links, wherein an end of the links is connected to the slot to pivot and move along each slot, and the other end of each of the links is pivotably connected to a side of each of the upper and lower surfaces of the holder. According to the present invention with such a structure, the communication pad which is supported by the holder can be tilted to a desired position according to a position of the user.

By providing the display on the control panel to display an amount of power consumed and electric charges therefor, a user can easily recognize the amount of power consumed and the electric charges therefor due to the use of the refrigerator. Also, the brightness of the display can be adjusted by the user's selection, so as to enable the reduction of the amount of power consumed.
