A circuit board can have a plurality of light sources thereon, and a lens can at least partially encapsulate the circuit board to protect and electrically insulate the circuit board. When used, for example, in a lighted shelf application, power can be provided to the luminaire through shelf brackets along the side of the shelf panel.

摘要: A method of forming a through-glass via hole involves providing a glass substrate having first and second substantially planar parallel surfaces; masking the first and second substantially planar parallel surfaces to form a via-patterned portion thereon; and etching the via-patterned portion on the first and second substantially planar parallel surfaces to form a first channel in the first substantially planar parallel surface and a second channel in the second substantially planar parallel surface. The first channel and second channel are substantially orthogonal or non-orthogonal to one another. The first channel and the second channel intersect to form a quadrilateral through-glass via hole having via openings at the first and second substantially planar parallel surfaces. A low cost, low complexity and high reliability method for producing a glass substrate having a plurality of through-glass via holes such that the glass substrate can be used, for example, as an interposer.

摘要: A coated glass or glass ceramic substrate includes a substrate with a surface area and a coating on that surface area. The coating includes a glass matrix and IR-reflecting pigments. The IR-reflecting pigments have a TSR value of at least 20%, as determined according to ASTM G 173. The coating, at a wavelength of 1500 nm, exhibits a remission of at least 35%, as measured according to ISO 13468.

摘要: A method for producing an appliance component is provided. The appliance component has an operational front side and back side and has a substrate made of thermally tempered flat glass with a coating. The method includes the steprs of: a) providing a glass substrate made of thermally tempered glass with the dimensions of the appliance component; b) applying a preparation for producing an adhesion promoter layer onto a surface of the glass substrate, wherein the preparation is applied onto the surface of the glass substrate that forms the operational back side of the decorative panel; c) producing the adhesion promoter layer by polymerization of the preparation applied in step b); d) applying a preparation for producing an organic color layer onto the adhesion promoter layer produced in step c) by digital printing; and e) producing the organic color layer by polymerization of the preparation applied in step d).

摘要: The insulated glass unit (IGU) of the present disclosure includes two or more glass panels that are spaced apart in a parallel arrangement. The panes define an interior space that is filled with air or other suitable gas, a fluid or liquid, or a vacuum. The IGU is encapsulated to provide a water-tight seal to prevent or minimize water or particles from migrating into the interior space, or to prevent or minimize heat loss. A spacer with a desiccant can be in the interior space. To preserve the structural integrity of the glass panels during encapsulation, a second spacer is placed between the glass panes. The second spacer can be T-shaped so that a narrowed body portion fits between the glass panes. The second spacer can also have a groove therein for storing adhesive and/or desiccant.
