The mounting portion is configured to couple the wheel scraper to an agricultural planter relative to a wheel on the agricultural planter such that the tine portion is arranged extending adjacent to an outer circumferential surface of the wheel and separated from the outer circumferential surface by a clearance. The biasing portion is configured to resiliently bias the tine portion relative to the outer circumferential surface.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides a liquid delivery apparatus for a planter unit. The liquid delivery apparatus is used to deliver fertilizer during crop planting. The apparatus is configured to attach to a planting device. The liquid delivery apparatus includes a tube which receives a liquid from a reservoir and delivers that liquid to the ground. The liquid flows through a passage extending down the tube. On the end of the tube proximal to the ground, the tube includes an injector with an aperture extending down a center axis. The aperture has a diameter smaller than a diameter of the passage. The injector also includes a tool receiving aperture that is collinear with the axis. Together the injector and the tube are no larger in diameter than the fertilizer tube alone. In this configuration the delivery apparatus is sufficiently compact and strong to be placed close to the ground without interfering with disks or be permanently deformed by debris.

    摘要: A bracket for use with an agriculture planter including a trailing arm frame defining a pivot point thereon may include an arm bracket assembly with first, second, third, and fourth arms. Each arm may extend from a middle portion of the bracket. First and second fertilizer furrow opening discs may be rotatably mounted on mounting ends of two of the arms. First and second furrow closing wheels may be rotatably mounted on a mounting end of the other two arms. The middle portion of the bracket may be pivotally coupled to the trailing arm frame at the pivot point. The arms joined to the fertilizer furrow opening discs may be arranged at opposing ends of the middle portion to enable the furrow opening discs to open two fertilizer furrows on opposing sides of a seed furrow.

    摘要: A trailing assembly for an agricultural planter is attached to a frame element of the agricultural planter with a mounting bracket. A walking beam having a hub at an intermediate position along a length of the walking beam is pivotably attached to the mounting bracket. A first pair of arms extends from the hub in a first direction, with each arm configured with a shaft to rotatably and selectively receive a first rotating implement, for example, a closing wheel or a fertilizer opener disc. A second pair of arms extends from the hub in a second direction parallel to each other and spaced apart from each other. Distal ends of the second pair of arms are configured to rotatably and selectively receive and support opposing ends of an axle of another rotating implement, for example, a press wheel, positioned between the second set of arms.
