摘要： Flexlock non-textile fabrics use intimately linked elements that are formed from formable, preferably solid phase forgeable materials into generally triangular shapes with hinging connection features along edges of a generally triangular overall shape. These hinging connection portions permit other elements to rotate about axes that intersect at intersections. Buttressing portions are located near these intersections and include cylindrical or conical shapes that abut the buttressing portions of adjacent formed elements. This abutting can occur even when adjacent elements are rotated or twisted out of a common plane. Connection portions include direct formed engagements with knuckles of the other elements. These connection portions and the engaged knuckles can include headed pintles, axles, or oppositely facing conical protrusions, and may be configured to permit the non-textile fabric to bend on itself within its own thickness without undue strain on the connection features.

An electrosurgical instrument may include one or more light emitters that comprise a light source in operative communication with a power supply supportably interconnected to a handle portion. The instrument may have a toggle member with one or more selectable positions that may selectively activate any of one or more operational states of an electrosurgical electrode comprising the instrument. The toggle member may selectively activate the light emitter(s) provided on the instrument alone and/or in conjunction with the activation of one or more operational state. The handle portion may include an elastomeric handle portion that extends continuously along the handle portion and over the toggle member to seal the handle portion.

摘要： An endoscopic capsule adapted for selective attachment to the distal end portion of an endoscopic device. The capsule is designed for insertion with an interconnected endoscopic device into a patient body to provide an open space in front of the distal end of the endoscopic device. The capsule facilitates the performance of endoscopic procedures providing a space in which to manipulate medical instruments within the patient body as well as improving a surgeon's field of vision within the patient body. In one embodiment, the capsule includes a housing having an internal chamber and two apertures. A first aperture is interconnectable to the end of an endoscopic device and provides operative access to endoscopic instruments contained therein. One or more of these endoscopic devices are advanceable into the internal cavity for selectively engaging patient tissue disposed relative to the second aperture.

摘要： A suturing device includes a rod partially covered by an elongate tube. A guide containing a one way slot is mounted to an end of the rod; a similar guide is mounted to the same end of the tube. The rod and tube may be rotated with respect to each other by manipulating an attached handle. A suturing needle with suture material attached may be fitted into a slot in one of the guides. Rotating the guides allows the needle to be passed between the needle guides, and the one way slot action allows the needle to be separated from one of the guides, so that the needle may passed around the device in an approximate circle. The device may be moved longitudinally as the needle is passed between the needle guides to form a series of stitches.

摘要： There are many constructions for permitting one to practice portions of the game of golf indoors. However golf requires a different types of strokes to be performed proficiently, and practicing all the types of strokes indoors, and in a sequence which simulates an actual golf game, has until now been problematic. Disclosed is a practice booth for golf with a putting pan which serves a number of functions. The pan itself retains the lower edges of net like walls of the booth, and gathers end supports these walls when the pan is hoisted by ropes or cables to the supporting roof of the room in which the booth is erected. The putting pan is made of bendable but ridged hollow sections which permit the upper surface to be warped to simulate variations in lies of putting greens. Alternative carpet like coverings are available to change the putting surface characteristics. A removable target for chipping or driving attaches to one net wall of the booth. The target is made of a foam elastomer slab which dents easily to mark the impact of the driven ball, but slowly restores to its original flat shape after a time.

摘要： This invention is a handle assembly for luggage. It includes an elongated, hollow, complaint handgrip portion having a pair of parallel grooves on its upper surface. A rigid end member is received in each end of the hollow handgrip and extends away from the same side of the handgrip at a divergent angle. Openings in the distal ends of the rigid end members engage co-operating means on the luggage case. A metal U-shaped member engages the two inserted rigid end members and the parallel grooves to hold the handle parts in proper assembled relation.

摘要： There is provided a beauty case having a pair of case halves hinged together along a common edge for closing and opening. Each case half includes a metal frame edge with molded plastic shell or cover mounted thereon. An organizing tray is received within the case and disconnectably attached to the inner surface of the end walls for removal and hanging onto the front sidewall of the lower case half. A mirror is provided on the inside top surface of the upper case half which is adjustable to a different angular position and has a finger actuated latch for securing the mirror in an out of the way position against the inside cover wall. The mirror is mounted in a one-piece molded plastic frame having a flexible thin-wall section which serves as a hinge between a part of the frame secured to the inside case cover and the frame part carrying the mirror.
