The invention relates to a device and a method for depositing a metal coil (200) on two support points (110-1; 110-2). In order to avoid risks, in particular instability, while depositing metal coils having high residual stress, according to the invention the risk of an unstable position of equilibrium is checked, if a change in the relative position of the two support points (110-1; 110-2) with respect to one another is foreseeable, it is carried out such that the metal coil (200) comes to rest on both support points at least approximately in a stable position of equilibrium.

The invention relates to a method and a device for depositing a metal coil (200) on two stationary support points (110-1; 110-2). In order to be able to deposit even metal coils that have high internal residual stress in a stable manner on the two support points, according to the invention, a third support point (140) is pivoted against the outer circumference of the metal coil (200) if needed).

The invention relates to a strapping machine (1) for tying packages (2), in particular metal strips wound into coils, using at least one strapping band (4; 4a, 4b) guided around a package (2), wherein a tying head (8, 8a, 8b) can be placed against the package. The strapping machine comprises a tensioning device and a welding device (9a, 9b) for connecting the ends (4a, 4b) of the strapping bands (4) that are stretched under tension, said welding device comprising at least one upper advanceable welding electrode (12) in an electrode chamber (10). The strapping machine also comprises a counter electrode that temporarily interacts with said welding electrode. A sliding plate (14) is associated with the welding device (9a, 9b) towards the package (2). Since the sliding plate (14) is also designed as the counter electrode, is used in the region of the mutually overlapping ends (4a, 4b) of the strapping band (4) on the lower face thereof and is directly supported on the package (2), strapping and tying are simpler and more secure.

The first display device is arranged in a visual field of an observer. The second electromechanical display device is arranged at an angle to the first display device, and a combination element is provided between the first display device and the electromechanical display device, the combination device being transparent to the image-forming light in the first display device and reflective to the image-forming light of the electromechanical second display device.

A built-in instrument cluster for a motor vehicle includes at least one display device, which emits image-forming light and is arranged in the direct field of view of an observer, and at least one illuminated and/or self-illuminating electromechanical indicator device, which is arranged in the observer's field of view, at an angle to the display device, and is moved into the observer's field of view together with the display device via an optical combiner, which is arranged to reflect the image-forming light of the electromechanical indicator device. In order to be able to integrate such an instrument cluster into the tight spatial conditions in the instrument panel in the steering-column region, it is provided that the electromechanical indicator device is at least partially provided by light guides and/or light projectors to save depth at abutting vehicle components.

The pharmaceutical formulation contains peroxidic species or reaction products resulting from oxidation of an alkene, such as geraniol, by an oxygen-containing oxidizing agent, such as ozone; a penetrating solvent, such as dimethylsulfoxide (“DMSO”); a dye containing a chelated metal, such as hematoporphyrin; and an aromatic redox compound, such as benzoquinone. The pharmaceutical formulation is used effectively to stimulate periapical bone regeneration and for the endodontic treatment of periapical bone abscess, and fibromas, in a patient.

The apparatus has a machine housing and a building space provided in the machine housing. An interchangeable container forms a delimiting frame for the material within the building space. The container has a work piece platform. The work piece platform is supported on a supporting device during operation of the apparatus. Preferably, the interchangeable container has a rear side wall with a recess extending vertically, and the supporting device engages the work piece platform through the recess.

The invention relates to an apparatus for sampling rolled metal strips wound up into a coil (1), in particular in the thickness range of >12 mm, comprising a coil rotator and an apparatus (6) for separating the sample from the metal strip (4), characterized in that the coil rotator has at least two rotatable supports (2, 3), preferably trough rollers arranged in a lower quadrant of the coil (1) lying on the coil rotator, and also an outer guide (5) for the metal strip, the outer guide (5) extending angularly around the coil (1) by more than 180° in a region downstream of the downstream support (3) in an unwinding direction of the metal strip and is provided with means (7) for reducing friction of the metal strip on an inner surface of the outer guide (5).
