Abstract: A battery-operated wristwatch includes a watch case, two strap parts and a clasp, wherein a battery housing including a battery is integrated in the clasp. Abstract: An electrically conductive holder is provided that is suitable for receiving a tablet electrode of a button battery. The holder includes a bottom portion to be fitted coaxially within terminal of a button battery. The holder further includes an upstanding wall portion. The bottom portion is flat and provided with a plurality of apertures through the complete thickness of the bottom portion. At least one group of apertures is distributed at regular angular intervals around the center of the bottom portion, spanning 360°. The strips of solid material of the bottom portion between two adjacent apertures are preferable narrow compared to the dimensions of the adjacent apertures so as to provide a mechanical support for the tablet electrode while also being able to deform under the influence of a volumetric expansion of the electrode.

Abstract: A method of producing a current collector for a thin battery includes a printing or spray deposition technique on a substrate formed of a battery packaging material. The layer obtained by printing or spray deposition includes particles of an electrically conductive material. The printing or spraying is followed by curing using a light source, to thereby obtain the current collector. The printed or sprayed layer is produced having the required form of the current collector, so that no stamping or other forming operations are required. Current collectors according to the method have comparable or improved mechanical and electrical properties to the traditional foil or mesh-based current collectors.
