Abstract:
A wireless, in-ear, or non-in-ear, earphone comprising a microphone, a speaker, and a camera module in the earbud casing, the camera module is configured to obtain images of the user's environment, the camera module comprising a near-infrared camera to capture the images using a near-infrared LED. The earphone comprises an internal microcontroller configured to obtain information extracted from processing the captured images. Image processing applies computer vision and can be executed by the microcontroller of the earphone and/or a guest device with which the microcontroller is communicated through a wireless communication interface by means of an on-chip antenna. The earphone further comprises a short-range wireless communication module to receive audio information and to play the received audio in the speaker.
Abstract:
In one embodiment, an object in a database schema may be verified as having a valid digital signature associated with a trusted entity. An application may be permitted access to the object of the database schema only when the object of the database schema is verified to have a valid digital signature associated with the trusted entity. In another embodiment, an object in a database schema may be verified as having a digital signature associated with at least one trusted entity. An application may be permitted access to the object of the database schema only when the digital signature for the object is verified to be associated with the at least one trusted entity.
Abstract:
The present invention incorporates new materials for bone regeneration, methods for their manufacture, and application in traumatology surgery, maxillofacial surgery, dental surgery, orthognatic surgery, endodontics, ophthalmology, neurosurgery and/or osteoporotic processes, and other indications where bone regeneration is required. In particular, the present invention incorporates synthetic materials with a 20% to a 95%, preferably between 40% and 90% in mass of monetite [Ca1-XMXHPO4, where 0≦x≦0.05, and where M can be a divalent metallic ion], and which in their final composition incorporate between 5% and 80%, preferably between 0% and 60%, in mass of bioactive calcium compounds chosen from calcium phosphates and between 5% and 80% in total mass of bioactive silicon compounds chosen from calcium silicates and/or bioactive silica glasses and gels.
Abstract:
Systems and methods that qualify and/or restrict access of codes associated with a database to objects located outside thereof and in other databases—even though a person executing such code does in fact have permission to interact with the object that the code is attempting to access. A sandbox component can regulate access from one database to another database, by managing authenticator permission and/or trust permission levels. Hence, the set of privileges assigned to security execution context of an executable module (procedure, trigger, computed column) in an un-trusted database is restricted not to exceed a privilege set assigned to database owner.
Abstract:
A database management system that supports multiple databases in an instance with controlled sharing between the databases. The invention can also support execution of procedures and other modules in the context of any principal possibly different from that of the caller. Trusted certificates can be employed to permit access to procedures (or other modules). The security context of the invention can enable the building blocks of building a pure trusted sub-system model of authorization.

Abstract:
A production facility for forming elongated products, in particular wind turbine blades, includes elongated mould assemblies that may be accessed on the basis of an appropriate transport system which includes at least one support member laterally positioned between the elongated mould assemblies. The support member is positioned so as to enable a rotational movement of an arm or is configured to change position or includes a rotatable carrier element. The support member may be positioned in a non-interference position, in which one or both mould assemblies can be moved into a position so as to form a composite mould assembly.
Abstract:
A device for the remote tracking of water masses through a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver equipped with a telecommunications modem and an electronic control board is provided. The device includes GPS locator enclosed within a floating watertight and sealed container or float. A method for the simultaneous management and operation of a set of one or more of such devices is also provided.

Abstract:
Various technologies and techniques are disclosed for improving configuration of database audits. Multiple audits can be created for a database. Any one of the audits can be turned off without impacting an operation of any remaining audits. Database audits can be ported from one database server instance to another. Database audit metadata is stored in a database separately from a database server instance to which the database is attached. The database can be detached from the database server instance and attached to a second database server instance, with the database audit metadata moving along with the database automatically. Any audits associated with the database audit metadata are automatically activated for the second database server instance. Database audits can be configured using a hierarchical model.
