Abstract:
A component filter device which is added to a new or existing multi-chamber septic tank to filter the effluent of the septic tank to improve the quality of the water entering a method of dispersal. The device uses a spiral wound membrane filter to filter the effluent. The membrane filter contains open channel spacers to channel the bubbles which scour the membrane leaves. An air lift pump is used to pump permeate. A three-way actuator valve directs the airflow to either the pump or to a bubble diffuser. A two-way actuator valve directs the flow of permeate. A low water indicator directs the operation of the device. The device uses bubble scouring and back washing to clean the membrane leaves. A blower, two actuator valves and a low water indicator are the only moving parts of the device.
Abstract:
A hollow chamber structural component includes a shell component which extends along a main extension direction. A cover component is attached to the shell component, wherein a hollow chamber is disposed between the shell component and the cover component and extends in the main extension direction. A reinforcing structure is arranged in the hollow chamber and comprises: a synthetic support structure, which follows at least in some sections the main extension direction and rests with at least some sections against an inside of the shell component; and at least one reinforcing element that follows at least in some sections the main extension direction and is joined to the synthetic support structure with the aid of a layer of adhesive.
Abstract:
Event participants in attendance at a plurality of different event venues can locate, edit and print images of themselves in their respective seating locations. A venue database is provided that contains data for a plurality of venues. For each venue, the venue database includes past events that occurred at the venue for a predetermined past time period and the associated event date, a venue seating chart, event participant images captured at past events at a plurality of different seating locations, and data related to the event type for at least some of the past events. The user searches the data in the venue database to identify a past event of interest. A venue seating chart associated with the past event of interest is displayed, the user selects a seating location on the seating chart, and one or more event participant images captured at the past event of interest at the selected seating location is displayed. The user selects one or more of the images and applies a plurality of different image editing functions to the image via a user interface display screen. The edited images can be stored and/or printed.
Abstract:
The method is used in a system comprising a central station (CS) coupled to each of a plurality of terminal stations (TS1-TSn), wherein the central station (CS) is enabled to transmit downstream frames (DS) to the terminal stations to allow the terminal stations to transfer upstream frames (US) to the central station in time slots assigned thereto by way of of access grant information (TEA1-TEA4) included in the downstream frames. The downstream frame (DS) is a superframe having a matrix structure with rows and columns, and a first portion and a second portion of the matrix structure is an overhead portion (S, TCB) and an information portion (ATM) respectively. The overhead portion includes the access grant information and the size of the overhead portion is flexibly adaptable. The central station and the terminal stations are adapted to send and to interpret the superframe.
Abstract:
An exchangeable prefilled syringe (4) is arranged in the front part (2) of the device. In the rear part (1), a gear mechanism (3) is arranged, the drive member of which is a driving sleeve (10) provided with a manipulating head (11), and the driven member of which is a threaded rod (12) mounted non-rotationally but longitudinally displaceably in the driving sleeve. The threaded rod (12) is seated in the female thread (22) of a gear element (20) which can be advanced, by exerting pressure on the manipulating head (11) in the axial longitudinal direction from a rest position into an end position against the force of a spring (26).In the rest position of the gear element (20), the threaded rod (12), located at a distance from the plunger (5) of the prefilled syringe (4), is threaded, by rotating the manipulating head (11), through the female thread (22) of the gear element (20) in correspondence with a plunger path required for the amount of liquid to be respectively injected, without the threaded rod (12) abutting against the plunger (5) during this step. Thereafter, the needle (7) is inserted, and the gear element (20) is advanced, by exerting pressure on the manipulating head (11), from the rest position into the end position. During the advancing stroke (h), the threaded rod (12) abuts against the plunger (5) and advances the latter in correspondence with the preselected plunger path. The device makes it possible to preselect an arbitrary amount of liquid by a corresponding rotation of the manipulating head (11) and to inject this amount of liquid, after insertion of the needle, by means of a single pressure exertion on the head (11).
Abstract:
Disclosed is an installation for burning-out scrap metal goods for the purpose of reclaiming scrap metal, comprising at least one furnace wagon, which is capable of being loaded with the scrap metal goods to by burned out; at least one burning-out chamber into which the furnace wagon is movable for burning-out the scrap metal goods to produce scrap steel; means for heating the burning-out chamber to a temperature of at least about 600.degree. C.; at least one afterburning chamber communicating with the burning-out chamber for afterburning flue gases produced in the burning-out chamber at a temperature from about 1100.degree. to 1200.degree. C.; a waste gas purifying plant communicating with the afterburning chamber for eliminating the flue gas impurities and for the scrubbing of the flue-gases originating from the afterburning chamber; and at least one cooling chamber arranged adjacent to and in selective communication with the burning-out chamber for cooling the burned-out material.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the production of an article such as a pallet by a vacuum moulding technique in which a substantially two dimensional array of reinforcement elements is supported above a vacuum forming table on a first section or sections of said table movable upwards from a second section or sections of said table, a hot sheet of thermoplastic material being positioned over said reinforcement array and drawn down and around underneath said reinforcement by the application of a vacuum applied through said second section or sections, said first section or sections then being retracted to a position substantially flush with said second section or sections once said thermoplastic material is capable of supporting said reinforcement above said second section or sections and said vacuum then drawing said thermoplastic material down and around underneath said reinforcement elements above said first section or sections.
Abstract:
A method includes providing a graphical user interface to an automated software development system, and providing a customized software application to an enterprise. The application comprises a collection of codesets that together are configured to perform an integration process.
Abstract:
An information handling system comprises a processor connected to a display and a storage device. The information handling system includes a connection via a network interface to a network that is adapted to receive data representing monitored business process data. Monitored business process data is received from the execution and operation of a customized executable system integration software application. The customized executable system integration software application represents one or more end-to-end integrated business processes of an enterprise or other user. The integrated business processes may operate at the network location of the enterprise or user or may be hosted at another network or in a cloud environment. The storage device is adapted to store the data representing the monitored business process data. The monitored business process data is aggregated from records for summary display via a hierarchical dashboard user interface.
Abstract:
An injection device is described which is lockable in its end position in such a manner that the reliability of storing or transporting it with a carpule attached is improved in comparison with devices according to the prior art. It is comprised of fewer components than comparable devices, with these components being easier to manufacture so that production costs are low. The injection device is used for medical purposes.
