摘要: A method and apparatus for automatically leveling a band of fibers such as sliver, roving and the like by varying the drafting speed of a drafting mechanism responsive to variations in the thickness of the band. Analogue signals are produced by variations in the thickness of the band and are converted to digital signals for being stored in a digital register. After a period of time, corresponding with the time for conveyance of the scanned point in the sliver up to and into the draft zone, the information is read out of the storage register and converted back to an analogue signal. The analogue signal is compared with another signal representing the actual drafting speed for producing a compared signal for controlling the drafting speed.

摘要: A fleece guidance system is provided to convey a fiber fleece to the nip of a pair of calendar rollers. The system includes a funnel having a fiber sliver channel defined therethrough which tapers towards an opening adjacent the nip of the calendar rollers. The channel has a longitudinal axis therethrough which is angled relative to a plane through the axes of rotation of the calendar rollers. Oppositely facing guiding segments are configured on the funnel on opposite sides of the opening. The segments have a forward edge which extends into the nip and define lateral guiding surfaces for the fiber sliver exiting from the opening. A plane through the forward edge of the guiding segments and the opening is essentially perpendicular to a plane through the axis of rotation of the calendar rollers.

摘要: The invention relates to the correction of an error-prone measuring signal of a pair of scanning rollers. The measuring signal is influenced by the circularity error of the pair of scanning rollers and/or by the eccentric mounting of the pair of scanning rollers. The pair of scanning rollers is used to measure the thickness of a fiber fleece or fiber sliver on a pre-spinning machine in the textile industry. The occurrence of a periodic error value in the measuring signal due to circularity error and/or eccentricity of the pair of scanning rollers is detected. The error value is stored in a position-related manner for one revolution of the scanning rollers and the stored error value is used in the operation of the scanning rollers within the cycles of rotation for the correction of the current, position-synchronous measuring signals.

摘要: A process and a device for the correction of the regulation onset point and of the intensity of regulation relate to a regulated drawing frame of the textile industry, i.e. a drawing frame in which drafting can be regulated or can be changed in a controlled manner. A selected transient signal of the fiber sliver thickness starts the process for a limited time span so that, independently of the existing regulation, the response signal is detected at the drawing frame output and its difference with the input signal is evaluated in order to correct the regulation onset point and/or the intensity of regulation.

摘要: The invention relates to an autolevelling draw-frame of the textile industry in which the drafting of the fiber sliver can be modified in a controlled and/or autolevelled manner. It is the object of the invention to analyze electrical signals or measured values of a draw-frame so that correction may be made on basis of these analyses. This object is attained in that additional, time-related signal analyses are conducted independently of autolevelling. They make it possible to recognize corrigible deviations within the analyzed signals as well as the establishment of appropriate correction values. If deviations exceed a tolerance, a determination is made in combination with the knowledge memory of a computer whether the deviation is due to a disturbance in the machine or whether the deviation can be explained as a logical consequence.

摘要: Process and device are provided for the automatic adjustment of the rotational speed ratios among the operating elements of a draw frame. The invention utilizes a drive for a draw frame which is less expensive and at the same time achieves a higher degree of automation and precision for the adjustment of the rotational speed ratios between the operating elements. The total required power to be supplied to the operating elements of a draw frame is divided up between a main motor and several separate motors. The distribution of the required power capacity is such that the main motor delivers a constant required power which represents the major part of the total required power. All the separate motors which deliver selectively variable required power, together furnish the lesser share of the total required power. According to the device, the mechanical gear coupling of all operating elements among each other is at the same time coupled to individual drives for all operating elements.
