摘要: A process for draining a fibrous pulp web is preferably carried out on drum thickeners or disk filters. A suspension to be drained rests against a perforated first face, which is a part of the rotor of the drum thickener or disk filter, is transported from the suspension vat, and then arrives in a thickening region. The thickening region contains a second face, wherein the first and second face have a relative speed in relation to each other. The effectiveness of the thickening can be significantly increased by vacuum zones provided on the drum thickener or disk filter.

摘要: A process for thickening a fibrous pulp suspension by guiding the suspension between a rigid first face and a flexible second face that move in relation to each other and form a converging draining gap, where the first face and/or the second face is/are water permeable, and where the process includes providing the suspension to be drained, forming from the suspension a fibrous pulp layer with a solid matter content of at least about 4% on at least one of the first face and the second face, guiding the fibrous pulp layer into the draining gap, applying a pressure differential in the draining gap via the second face to thicken the fibrous pulp layer, the pressure differential being formed by stretching the second face and pressing the first face and the second face toward each other to drain water from the fibrous pulp layer, and transporting the thickened fibrous pulp from the draining gap.

摘要: The refiner for processing a fiber stock suspension for paper fabrication comprises at least one substantially planar grinding disc equipped with a conventional set of grinding tools. This substantially planar grinding disc coacts with a perforated plate. The perforations or holes of the perforated plate are provided at a side of the perforations or holes which confronts the grinding disc with grinding edges suitable for achieving a desired refinement processing or treatment of the fiber stock suspension. These perforations or holes experience a force flow of the fiber stock suspension through such perforations or holes.

摘要: A method for refining aqueous suspended fibers, the fibers being paper fibers or pulp fibers including the steps of leading, pressing, forming, temporarily attaching, supplying and discharging. The leading step includes leading the aqueous suspended fibers through at least one refining zone which is located between an inside wall of a rotating refiner drum and at least one refiner roll, the refiner roll rotating in association with the refiner drum. The pressing step includes pressing the refiner roll and the refiner drum against each other thereby causing a mechanical refining force to be transferred to the fibers so that strength properties of paper produced therefrom are altered. The forming step includes forming a fibrous stock layer on the inside wall of the rotating refiner by the aqueous suspended paper fibers. The temporarily attaching step includes temporarily attaching the fibrous stock layer to the inside wall due to rotation. The supplying step includes supplying a continuous flow of liquid with the aqueous suspended paper fibers to the fibrous stock layer. The discharging step includes discharging the liquid from the fibrous stock layer.
