Abstract:
The invention provides a composition comprising: a) a benefit agent (preferably perfume) delivery particle comprising a poly-xyloglucan or poly-galactomannan with a ratio of beta-1,4 to 1,6 linkages of 1:1 to 3:1, or a mixture thereof as a delivery aid, b) a mannanase, preferably in combination with one or more of lipase, protease and amylase. Preferably the delivery particle is a core-shell encapsulate.
Abstract:
A two-element array antenna system includes a first antenna element and a second antenna element. A transmitting, receiving, and processing (TRP) system is coupled to the first and second antenna elements via, respectively, a single first transmission element and a single second transmission element. The first and second transmission elements have respective transmit-path and receive-path functionality. The TRP system is configured to determine an amplitude offset and phase offset associated with the transmit-path functionality of the first and second transmission elements, and, based on data obtained during the determination of amplitude offset and phase offset associated with the transmit-path functionality of the first and second transmission elements, determine an amplitude offset and phase offset associated with the receive-path functionality of the first and second transmission elements.
Abstract:
The invention provides a benefit agent delivery particle comprising hydroxylpropyl cellulose. The benefit agent delivery particle may further comprise a non-polysaccharide polymer, preferably an aminoplast polymer. The benefit agent delivery particle may comprise a perfume. The invention also provides a process for the manufacture of the particles in which perfume oil is encapsulated using emulsion polymerization to form core-shell particles, (in the alternative the perfume may be adsorbed later) and, a further polymer layer is formed on the outer surface of the core shell-particles in the presence of the delivery aid.

Abstract:
A power amplifier provides relatively stable quiescent current while maintaining relatively high signal gains and peak to quiescent current ratios. The power amplifier has an input stage and a current mirror stage and incorporates a control transistor between these stages. The control transistor transitions to the triode mode for small inputs and offset voltages thereby reducing the amplifier circuit's gain. However, the control transistor transitions from the triode region to saturation as the input signal becomes larger thereby allowing the amplifier circuit to maintain a relatively high gain for large inputs. Accordingly, better quiescent current characteristics can be obtained without significantly sacrificing performance.

A two-element array antenna system includes a first antenna element and a second antenna element. The first and second antenna elements respectively include first and second frequency multipliers. A transmitting, receiving, and processing (TRP) system is coupled to the first and second antenna elements via, respectively, a single first transmission element and a single second transmission element. The TRP system is configured to transmit to the first antenna element a first input signal at a sub-multiple of a first frequency, receive from the first frequency multiplier a first calibration signal based on the first input signal, transmit to the second antenna element a second input signal at a sub-multiple of the first frequency, receive from the second frequency multiplier a second calibration signal based on the second input signal, and determine, based on the calibration signals, a relative phase difference between the first and second transmission elements.

A method for processing a transaction request at a database load balancer is disclosed. The method comprises receiving the transaction request, where the transaction request is comprised of one or more operations to be performed upon a database; analyzing the transaction request to determine the one or more operations; analyzing the transaction to determine one or more database units associated with the operations; analyzing the transaction requests and the one or more database units to determine one or more database subunits associated with the database units that the transaction request will perform one or more operations upon; associating one or more database locks with each of the one or more operations; analyzing one or more of the database locks to determine one or more sequence numbers associated with each of the one or more operations; and transmitting one or more unique identifiers for each of the database subunits, the one or more operations with the associated database locks and the sequence numbers to one or more database servers accessible to the database load balancer. Systems, apparatus and computer programming associated with or implementing the method are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A particle (preferably a core-shell encapsulate) comprising a benefit agent (preferably a perfume), said particle being bound to a non-cationic deposition aid which is substantive to polyester, wherein the non-cationic deposition aid is a polymer derivable from dicarboxylic acids and polyols. Preferably the polymer comprises units derived from (poly)ethylene glycol and terephthalate, most preferably selected from the group comprising PET/POET, PEG/POET, PET/PEG and phthalate/glycerol/ethylene glycol polymers. The invention also provides a method for producing improved benefit agent particles which comprises the step of covalently linking or co-polymerising a deposition aid which is substantive to polyester to a particle comprises the benefit agent. The particles find particular utility in laundry treatment compositions comprising (a) anionic and/or nonionic surfactant, or (b) cationic fabric conditioner and further comprising core-shell particles, wherein said particles have, incorporated in the shell a polyester-substantive deposition aid which is a phthalate containing polymer and incorporated in the core a perfume.

An exemplary system has a gimbal with a moveable portion, a device affixed to the moveable portion, a gimbal transceiver coupled to the moveable portion, and a stationary transceiver, wherein the gimbal transceiver and the stationary transceiver are configured to communicate with each other using a wireless signal.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for the manufacture of core-shell perfume particles by emulsion polymerisation and to the products obtainable by such a process. The core of the particles comprises a perfume and the shell (which preferably comprises an aminoplast polymer) also comprises a non-ionic deposition aid (such as locust bean gum) which is substantive to textiles. The process of the invention is characterised in that, during the emulsion polymerisation step, the solids content of the polymerisation mixture does not fall below 25% wt. The particles obtained by the process are suitable for inclusion in laundry products and show significantly improved deposition and retention onto fabrics being laundered as compared with particles formed at lower solids levels.
