摘要： A mold and die metallic material, an air-permeable member for mold and die use, and a method for making the same are provided. The mold and die metallic material is made by forming a mixed material containing stainless steel fibers with an equivalent diameter of 30-300 μm and a length of 0.4-5.0 mm, and stainless steel powder, heat sintering a green body of the mixed material, and heating the sintered body thus obtained in a nitrogen atmosphere and nitrided; wherein average open pore diameter thereof is 3-50 μm.

摘要： A die-casting die capable of obtaining stable, high-quality die-casting products by reducing clogging is disclosed. The die-casting die for casting die-casting products by pressure filling molten metal into a cavity, comprises a fixed die; a moving die for forming a cavity at contacting surfaces of the fixed die and the moving die, the moving die being capable of approaching and separating from the fixed die; an overflow formed on at least either the fixed die or the moving die to communicate through an overflow gate with the cavity; a porous gas-permeable member, through which gas can pass without allowing molten metal in the overflow to pass, disposed on at least either the fixed die or the moving die so as to communicate with the overflow; and an exhaust path, one end of which communicates with the surface on the side of the gas-permeable member opposite that of the overflow, and the other end of which communicates with the outside of the fixed die or the moving die.

摘要： An apparatus for cutting running workpiece includes a cutter for cutting, while the workpiece is running, the workpiece continuously supplied to run in a direction, and a travel member secured to the cutter, movable along the workpiece in contact with the workpiece. Since the travel member movable along the workpiece in contact with the workpiece is secured to the cutter, the cutter can follow a workpiece which is straight, curving or curving with a changing curvature. The cutter can be supported to be two-dimensionally movable to cut the workpiece in any form.

摘要： An apparatus for bending a workpiece comprises a stretching device for stretching the workpiece. In the process for bending the workpiece, an inclination angle made by a direction a tension force is acted to the workpiece and a direction a stretching forth is applied to the workpiece by the stretching member is detected. The tension force acted to the workpiece is controlled in such a manner that the stretching force from the stretching member is controlled in consideration of the inclination angle. Accordingly, the amount of the spring back after bending is uniform and an accuracy of the dimension of the bent workpiece is improved.
