    摘要: A method consistent with the present invention avoids data loss in a data object replication process. The method includes: creating an electronic data element comprising a first field having an identifier and a second field having a state of the identifier; setting the second field of the data element to a state indicating that the electronic data element may be accessed and assigned; assigning the identifier to one or more data objects; setting a shared lock on the electronic data element; storing the one or more data objects; and upon a commit of the storing of the one or more data objects, removing the shared lock and setting the state of the identifier to indicate that the one or more data objects may be replicated.

    摘要: An arc fault circuit breaker assembled such that electrical interconnections, i.e., electrical connections between compartments, are made without disassembling any previously assembled compartment. The arc fault circuit breaker comprises housings having compartments within. Electrically connected components having interconnecting components, i.e., components which provide electrical interconnections between compartments, are disposed within the compartments. The housings are assembled together to enclose the compartments. Interconnecting components within an enclosed compartment extend through openings in the housings to provide electrical interconnections to the next compartment to be assembled. Therefore, no disassembly of the enclosed compartment is necessary to make the interconnections.

    摘要: The following invention is a system for protecting tall bamboo plants from winter weather. The system includes several improvements over existing plant covers. It uses a simple method involving a vertical funnel for covering bamboo. A two-piece funnel is clamped around the base of the bamboo. A long strip of fabric with hook and loop on both sides is connected to the bottom of the funnel. The funnel is then pulled by a rope to the top of the bamboo. The hook and loop is fastened around the bamboo while the funnel is raised. A wireless relay allows the funnel and sleeve to be remotely disconnected. For extra cold protection and aesthetic beauty, Christmas lights can easily be included inside the cover.

The display is configured to mount adjacent an exterior surface of a vehicle. The memory is configured to store a plurality of executable applications including a vehicle identification application and an application elected by a user. The communication module is configured to download the user-elected application to the memory. The processor is configured to selectively execute applications to control visual content rendered on the display, wherein the display renders vehicle identification information when the vehicle identification application executes, and wherein the display renders additional visual content when the user-elected application executes.

    摘要: A data processing system includes multiple processors each having multiple processor cores. A core checkstop from a particular processor core indicates that a memory array associated with the particular core exhibits an error. In response to the core checkstop, the system migrates the workload of the particular processor core to another processor core. The system also removes the particular processor core from the current configuration of the system. In response to the core checkstop and error, the system initializes the particular processor core if the error is in a processor memory array associated with the particular core. The system then attempts correction of the error with array built-in self test (ABIST) circuitry. If the ABIST succeeds in correcting the error, the initialization of the particular processor core completes and the system returns the particular processor core to the current processor configuration. However, if the ABIST does not succeed in correcting the error, then the system removes the portion of the processor memory array including the error from future use.
