    摘要: An automotive safety device includes a housing and a removable support assembly having a base and support members pivotally attached to the base and moveable between a first, closed position and a second, open position. Each support member is arranged directly adjacent to an outer surface of the housing in the first position. In the second position, the support members allow the device to be freestanding. A first light source is arranged on the housing such that the device may function as an emergency roadside light. The device further includes a tire pressure gauge, including a pressure sensor, a processor, and a display, wherein the processor is configured to output a value on the display indicative of a measured pressure.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for testing batteries uses an audible voice prompt 35, 64 to enunciate the battery label or identifier that will be stored with the battery measurement in memory. Since the battery test technician must pay careful attention to the placement of the probes onto the battery terminal, the use of a voice prompt, rather than a visual prompt, allows the technician to keep his/her eyes on the test probes. If the label enunciated by the voice prompt does not match the label of the battery under test, the label on the tester can be reset to match the battery under test. In particular, a battery tester has a program which displays sequential numbers of battery labels that are stored with each battery's measurement data in memory. The sequence of labels corresponds to the sequential numbers marked on batteries in a string, array or matrix.

The sensing apparatus includes a memory for storing data and computer instructions and a communication component configured to transmit data representative of a value associated with the at least one parameter. A processor of the sensing apparatus communicates with the at least one sensor, the memory and the communication component. The processor receives output signals from said at least one sensor, and calculates at least one parameter based on computer instructions stored in the memory. The parameter is formatted in a human interface device (HID) compliant protocol, and provided to the communication component, which transmits the at least one HID compliant parameter value to a remote processing device.

    摘要: An amplifying circuit comprises a differential input stage having a first input terminal, a second input terminal, and an intermediate node, wherein the differential input stage is configured to generate a differential current flowing through the intermediate node in response to an input voltage difference between the first and second input terminals. The amplifying circuit further comprises a first current source coupled to the intermediate node, which is configured to provide a first bias current which allows the differential current to vary within a predetermined range. The amplifying circuit further comprises an output terminal coupled to the intermediate node, and a second current source coupled to the intermediate node and configured to provide a second bias current. The second bias current compensates the differential current and the first bias current and produces an output current flowing through the output terminal in a predetermined direction.     摘要: A tire pressure monitoring system includes a tire valve stem mounted tire pressure gauge and an externally powerable remote display unit. The pressure gauge includes a pressure sensor, a wake circuit, a processor, and a first radio frequency (RF) module. The remote display unit includes a second RF module and a display. The wake circuit is adapted to activate the processor periodically at a predetermined interval of time and causes the processor to receive an output signal from the pressure sensor. The output of the pressure sensor is indicative of a tire pressure detected by the pressure sensor. The remote display unit is adapted to display the measured tire pressure value without any user input.
