摘要： A non-aqueous composition for chemical treatment of the surface of a metallic substrate which comprises a chlorinated hydrocarbon solvent, chromic anhydride, phosphoric acid, a solubilizer and a stabilizer. By the use of such non-aqueous composition, chemical treatment can be achieved quickly with remarkable saving of operation steps. The coating resulting from such chemical treatment has a high corrosion resistance and an excellent adhesion with a paint coating film formed thereon.
