摘要: A fenestration assembly includes an operator assembly having an escutcheon configured for coupling with the fenestration assembly. A handle linkage is coupled with the escutcheon and rotatable relative to the escutcheon. The handle linkage includes a handle arm rotatably coupled with the escutcheon and a handle knob rotatably coupled with the handle arm. An articulating joint is between the handle arm and the handle knob. The handle linkage is movable between stowed and operational configurations. In the stowed configuration the handle linkage is seated along the escutcheon, and the handle arm and the handle knob are aligned. In the operational configuration the handle linkage is unseated from the escutcheon, the handle knob and the handle arm are misaligned with the handle knob at an operating angle relative to the handle arm, and the handle linkage is configured to open and close a fenestration panel.

摘要: A fenestration assembly includes a glazing unit includes a pane spacer between exterior and interior panes proximate glazing unit edges. A fenestration frame is coupled around the glazing unit and includes a frame core extending around the glazing unit. The frame core includes a unitary core wall including a composite material that is hollow and extends continuously from a core interior face to a core exterior face. A metal glazing cap is coupled with the frame core. The metal glazing cap having a cap end indirectly engaged with the glazing unit along the interior pane, and the cap end is remote from the pane spacer. Each of the core exterior face, the pane spacer and the metal glazing cap are thermally isolated from each other with the frame core including the unitary core wall.

摘要: A fenestration system includes one or more of a light modulation controller or ventilation modulation controller. The light modulation controller is in communication with at least one light modulation element of a fenestration assembly having a frame and a panel. The light modulation controller includes a light prescription module configured to provide a specified light prescription for the building interior. A lighting difference module is configured to determine a prescription difference between the specified light prescription and ambient light. A dynamic light module of the light modulation controller operates the at least one light modulation element according to the prescription difference. The ventilation modulation controller is in communication with at least one operator configured to open and close the panel. A ventilation prescription module provides a specified ventilation prescription for the building interior, and a dynamic ventilation module implements panel closing and opening according to the specified ventilation prescription.

摘要: A fenestration installation diagnostic system includes a diagnostic cord and a plurality of diagnostic fittings configured for coupling with a fenestration assembly. Each of the diagnostic fittings includes at least one bracket leg configured to statically couple the diagnostic fitting with the fenestration assembly and at least one alignment interface, and the alignment interface is configured to align the diagnostic cord at a diagnostic intersection. Each of the diagnostic fittings further includes at least one cord guide configured to route the diagnostic cord along the diagnostic fitting and toward another diagnostic fitting of the plurality of diagnostic fittings. In a diagnostic configuration with the fenestration assembly each of the diagnostic fittings are statically with the fenestration assembly, and the diagnostic cord tautly extends from the alignment interfaces of the plurality of diagnostic fittings to the diagnostic intersection.

摘要: A fenestration operation hardware assembly includes latch mechanisms configured for coupling to respective top and bottom sashes, and a paddle member configured for coupling the latch mechanisms. The latch mechanisms include movable latch bolts, and at least one of the latch mechanisms includes an operator interface feature movable between at least initial and operating positions. In an initial position, the latch bolts are in respective projected positions, and the top and bottom panels are immobilized. In a first withdrawn position, at least one of the top and bottom panels is movable, and in a second withdrawn position, at least one of the top and bottom panels is tiltable. In an example, a top latch bolt is moved by the paddle member according to movement of the bottom latch bolt.

摘要: A fenestration operation hardware assembly includes at least one latch mechanism and an operation hardware assembly configured for coupling with a panel slidable within a frame. The latch mechanism includes a latch bolt and a latch biasing element coupled with the latch bolt. An operator of the operation hardware assembly is remote from the latch mechanism and is coupled with the panel. The operator includes an operator interface feature movable between initial and operating positions. In the initial position the latch bolt is in a projecting position, and in the operating position the operator interface feature moves the latch bolt into one or more withdrawn positions. The operation hardware assembly includes a retention assembly for retaining the latch bolt in a withdrawn position.
