摘要： A buckle assembly includes a hollow buckle body and an insertable buckle latch with elongate latching legs. A separate reciprocable slide element carried by the buckle latch element with cam surfaces, angled relative to the longitudinal axis of the buckle that overlies the free ends of the latching legs. The cam surfaces are associated with angled surfaces on the latching legs forward of the latching edges. Movement of the slide element relative to the latch element causes the cam surfaces to urge the free ends of the latching legs together to unlatch the latching legs from the hollow buckle body locking edges. In one form, a cable is connected to the separate slide element to slide the separate slide element.

The frame (12) has a latch chamber (70) between the base (66) and the opposed side walls (68). The buckle assembly (10) also includes a lever (14) pivotally secured with in the latch chamber (70) between the opposed side walls (68), and a latch (16) configured to be secured in the latch chamber (70) by the lever (14). The latch (16) may include a frame-engaging member (30) having an ogived leading end (36). The ogived leading end (36) is configured to self-align the latch (16) within the latch chamber (70) when the latch (16) is mated into the latch chamber (70).

摘要： A support hanger system adapted to hang away from a top chord of a truss assembly using the upwardly facing planar surface of the top chord as the support surface for the downwardly extending support hanger. The support hanger assembly utilizes an elongated threaded member extending away from an operatively connected cross member. The cross member is oriented in transverse relation to the axis running along the length of the elongated threaded member. The cross member is adapted to fit through an acceptance slot extending through an upper base plate structure of the top chord such that the operatively connected threaded member extends downwardly from the upper base plate structure between downwardly projecting leg elements on either side of the acceptance slot. A channel support member adapted to reside between the leg elements may be disposed at a position below the cross member.

摘要： In a strip of collated fasteners, each having a shank and a head, a carrier molded from a polymeric material has a sleeve for each fastener. Each sleeve has an annular portion and a breakable portion, which breaks into two segments as the fastener gripped by such sleeve is driven. The breakable portion, which is notched at one end, has a pair of similar, laterally opposed, outwardly opening, continuously curved concave recesses with open windows, from which portions of the fastener shank emerges. In a fastener-guiding tool, parallel ribs of a guiding device fit into such recesses, into close proximity with the emerging portions, so as to guide the strip between such ribs.
