Abstract: Disclosed is a method of fragmenting a discrete waste product item or a combination of discrete waste product items involving introducing the discrete waste product item or combination of discrete waste product items into a pressure vessel, subjecting the item or items to an atmosphere of superheated steam in the vessel of at least 0.5 bar above atmospheric pressure, subsequently decompressing the vessel to achieve a pressure reduction of at least 0.5 bar in at most 5 seconds, and repeating the steps to effect fragmentation of the waste product item or combination of waste product items.

Abstract: A support arm with a hinged clamp allowing it to be secured around a bicycle seat post such that a detached front wheel is carried on the bike on the seat post. The support arm has two fingers that attach to a bicycle's front wheel once it has been detached from the bicycle. The free end of the fingers are secured to the axle at the fitting where the fork had been attached. The quick-release fitting secures the fingers in place. The clamp has two c-channel clamping members that encircle the tubular seat post. The clamping members are secured together with a latching means.

Abstract: A system is provided that comprises a vehicle (e.g., aircraft) including a plurality of modules (e.g., line-replaceable units—LRU's) capable of communicating over a plurality of buses (e.g., Mil-Std-1553 buses). The system also includes an advanced wireless open data controller (AWOC) capable of receiving data output onto the buses of the vehicle during operation of the vehicle, such as during flight of an aircraft. The AWOC is also capable of comparing the output data to a database of known events of the modules. Then, when the output data matches a known event for at least one module, the AWOC is capable of identifying an event. The AWOC can package event data including the identified event. A data unit, also included within the system, is capable of transmitting the packaged event data external to the vehicle at least partially over a wireless communication link.

Abstract: A pneumatically-inflated inner tube having two compartments such that if one compartment is damaged and deflates, the other compartment may be inflated without removing the tire. The compartments inflate independently of each other using separate valves; each compartment has its own valve for inflation. When inflated, the two compartments surround the same annular axis. The two embodiments described have primary and secondary compartments. In the first embodiment, each compartment is a discrete component wherein the secondary compartment is disposed inside the primary compartment. The compartments connect where the valve of the secondary compartment projects through an aperture in the primary compartment. In the second embodiment, the two compartments form an integral unit. The compartments share a common surface such that one compartment is formed inside the other compartment. The primary compartment inflates using a valve disposed on the common surface which terminates at an aperture open to the primary compartment. The secondary compartment inflates using a valve disposed on the common surface in which the aperture opens to the secondary compartment.
