    摘要： Approach light apparatus for guiding an airplane to a runway having a plurality of discharge tubes each having a gutter type reflector for reflecting the light from the discharge tube at a large solid angle so that the light reflected by the gutter type reflector may be easily and positively seen by a pilot aboard an airplane making a landing, with the plurality of discharge tubes being located sequentially along a guiding line connected to the runway at a predetermined interval.
