摘要： An optical module is provided. The optical module includes a base module and a cable management bracket removably attached to the base module. The base module includes a first adapter configured to interface with a first cable. The base module further includes a plurality of second adapters configured to interface with a plurality of optical fibers and a plurality of second cables. The cable management bracket includes a plurality of cable routing slots for routing the plurality of second cables. A fiber optic panel is also provided. The fiber optic panel includes a base, a plurality of module guides removably attached to the base, and a plurality of the optical modules slid between the module guides. A fiber management system is further provided. The fiber management system includes a rack and the fiber optic panel mounted on the rack.

摘要： A coupling including an adapter cap end and ferrule dust cap end is provided. The coupling may be used to store disconnected fiber optic lines in physical proximity to their assigned output by using a method of storing a fiber optic network connector. The method includes installing the coupling into a fiber optic network adapter by plugging the adapter cap end into the fiber optic network adapter; and installing the fiber optic network connector into the ferrule dust cap end of the coupling.

摘要： A bracket for mounting an multi-layer cable, such as an optical ground wire, to a fiber optic splice closure, and a method of inserting the multi-layer cable into the fiber optic splice closure using the bracket. The bracket includes mounting holes that are configured to attach to ground studs of the fiber optic splice closure. The bracket also includes cable grip protrusions that align with the entry ports into the fiber optic splice closure. The bracket is attached to the ground studs, and an outer layer of the multi-layer cable is attached to the cable grip protrusions using cable clamps. A portion of the outer layer of the multi-layer cable is removed so that the inner layer can properly enter the entry port into the fiber optic splice closure.
