    摘要: A cage nut assembly is provided for retaining a nut within a cage's nut capture region defined by a base with a hole substantially in its center, two lateral truss integral with the base and perpendicular to each other, and two upwardly extending arms also integral with the base. The two upwardly extending arms form a C-shaped head at the distal end that extend over the nut capture region. Thus a nut disposed in said cage is substantially flush with the base of said cage. A multiple cage nut assembly is provided for retaining a nut within cage's plurality of nut capture regions. One such nut capture region being defined by a base with a hole substantially in its center, two lateral truss integral with the base and perpendicular to each other, and two upwardly extending arms also integral with the base. The two upwardly extending arms form a C-shaped head at the distal end that extend over the nut capture region. Thus a nut disposed in said cage is substantially flush with the base of said cage. At least one other nut capture region being defined by a base with a hole substantially in its center, two lateral truss integral with the base and perpendicular to each other, and two upwardly extending arms also integral with the base. The two upwardly extending arms form a head with a bearing surface at the distal end that extend over the nut capture region. Thus a nut disposed in said cage is substantially flush with the base of said cage.

    摘要: A cable management rack is provided within which or upon which a heat-generating device is mountable, and which encompasses a vertical rectangular frame open in a front and a rear of the frame. The rack includes a first upright and a second upright attached to opposite respective lateral sides of a base and a top member, and respective side-facing panels. Each of the panels defines a plurality of vent holes arranged in an array and permit the rack to receive a sideways flow of cooling air into a first side of the rack through one of the vent hole arrays for cooling a heat-generating device mounted between the panels, and permit the rack to discharge a sideways flow of exhaust air through the other vent hole array. Each of the array of vent holes may manifest a honeycomb pattern of vent holes, and each of the vent holes may manifest an hexagonal shape. A cable management system includes a cable management rack for accommodating a heat generating device, a first baffle mounted with respect to a first upright of the rack and for redirecting a rearward flow of cool air sideways from a space adjacent a front side of the rack, and a second baffle mounted with respect to a second upright of the rack and for redirecting a sideways flow of exhaust air from the rack and through the second upright into a space adjacent a rear side of the rack. A method of cooling a heat-generating device mounted in or on a cable management rack includes providing a sideways flow of cooling air into the rack and into the device.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides for assemblies and methods for mounting a patch panel rack to a wire cable management pathway. In an exemplary assembly, a waterfall base is mounted with respect to and in between a pair of mounting brackets. Each of the pair of mounting brackets includes a support surface defining a top portion and a bottom portion, a front side surface and a rear side surface. The top portion associated with the support surface includes at least one upwardly extending wire cable management pathway mounting feature adapted to securely mount the pair of mounting brackets with respect to a wire cable management pathway. At least one of either the front side surface or the rear side surface associated with the bracket are adapted to host a plurality of ports. The wire management pathway mounting feature can be at least one substantially curved mounting clip feature having a horizontally extending fold over tab defining a gap opening to receive at least one wire associated with a wire cable management pathway. The fold over tab is adapted to fold over the at least one wire received by the defined gap opening to allow for mounting of each of the pair of brackets with respect to the wire cable management pathway. In an exemplary embodiment, the curved mounting clip feature is fabricated to substantially curve inwardly with respect to the waterfall base thereby substantially defining a U-shape geometry. In an further exemplary embodiment, the top portion associated with the support surface includes a plurality of upwardly extending wire cable management pathway mounting features. The plurality of ports can be included on a patch panel mounted with respect to the mounting brackets.

    摘要: A cable management system is provided that facilitates routing of cables from a rack, frame or cabinet. The cable management system may be mounted in a vertical or a horizontal orientation, and generally includes a wire cage assembly and at least one cable guide mounted to the wire cage assembly. The wire cage assembly is fabricated from vertical and horizontal wires, such that open regions are positioned for advantageous interaction with the disclosed cable guide. The cable guide generally includes an elongated member, a plurality of projection arms extending from the elongated member; and at least one L-shaped latching member extending from the elongated member. The cable guide advantageously mounts to the wire cage assembly through a latching mechanism that interacts with the back wall of the wire cage assembly. A method for mounting the cable guide(s) to the wire cage assembly is also provided.
